Nakajima Vintage 1970s Sofubi Tiger Mask Figure

Hi Guys,

I picked up this Nakajima 1970s Tiger Mask Sofubi figure (complete with cape, mask and boots) from a vintage toy shop yesterday at a reasonable price of about US$ 130. Being about 40 + years old, he's in pretty immaculate shape and the owner took real good care of him:











I do have the Medicom reproduction version of this figure that I picked up last year and I looked at both carefully to try and tell the difference. The one on the left is the Vintage version and the one on the right is the Medicom re-make. The differences are extremely subtle with probably only the worn out mask as the real indicator. The head does seem to have some light wear and tear. The only thing that I can point out would probably be the Sofubi material and in person, they do look and feel different:

















But for the experts here, how does one actually tell the difference between the original vintage Nakajima Tiger Mask Sofubi figure from the Medicom re-make?

On a side note, I also picked up this cool Billiken Shodai Hand Puppet Toy of Goro from the Ultraman Line:

From the Tiger Mask anime, not the wrestler (well, the wrestler was based on the anime).

I think the Medicom mask is more orange.

Didn't know Medicom used the Nakajima-logos
