I'm not sure what people were expecting. Talk Of Jericho listeners know that he prefers to have more of a conversation with his guests rather than hard hitting questions. And the interview was with Stephanie as well, I mean come on.

I am part of the minority but I really enjoyed every bit of it. Chris Jericho isn't known for asking the hard-hitting questions. I am glad it wasn't as guarded as I thought it was going to be. I did enjoy the honest responses Stephanie McMahon provided. This and along with the one with John Cena were really good. It really allows the whomever is being interviewed the chance to clear up some misconceptions about their career. I don't feel the one with Stephanie McMahon to be a waste of time at all. I am glad Shane McMahon was brought up. Considering the allegations made my the dirty sheets that both Shane & Stephanie were at odds with each other. Chris Jericho has very good interview skills and it shows on his two WWE Network specials and also on Talk Is Jericho. I try to absorb as much knowledge as possible from these specials and listening to various wrestling podcasts. I really think people are setting their expectations way too high for specials like Live with Chris Jericho. I didn't know what to expect and I am glad I have that mentality. It was good. Just two people, shooting the breeze and talking about various topics. I don't think the expectations are too high, but that they have the wrong set of expectations... People don't understand it's supposed to be a conversation between two people. I love listening to Talk Is Jericho for this reason. And if you really thought he would really ask Stephanie about Macho Man... You are an absolute idiot.

Much like how when I listen to Jim Ross, Steve Austin, and Chris Jericho's podcasts. I knew the whole alleged case with both Randy Savage & Stephanie McMahon wasn't going to touched upon.

That's how all of Jericho's interviews are, so I get that, but the WWE shouldn't be advertising it as a "controversial" interview or anything like that.

I should've made the distinction of who I was talking to, I was agreeing with your post and saying to others that the Savage thing wouldn't be referred to lol.

I had a hunch you were referring to others. Not yours truly. I understood what you meant!

On his latest podcast with Billy Corgan, Jericho addressed the complaints that he received regarding his interview with Stephanie. He says that if he asks the questions the critics want answered then it can put the guest in an awkward position and he doesn't want to possibly embarrass them. Thats not the type of show he goes for.
Jericho did make fun of himself though "I ask the hard hitting questions, like who was your teenage crush?" I'm all for the conversation vibe he goes for.
