So that was the longest hour of my life. Chris Jericho didn't ask any hard questions to Stephanie McMahon, he asked her questions that were most likely on a sheet that he was supposed to ask her.
When Chris said "in 1998 I heard this rumour from the boys" I was thinking "no way... is he gonna ask about the Randy Savage thing?!?!" but nope!
I feel that these podcasts on the WWE Network are just a waste of time now. And I know I will always watch them when a new one happens, but clearly we shouldn't expect anything groundbreaking or newsworthy from them.

There's a thread still on the first page about this.
But yeah, it sucked.

I am part of the minority but I really enjoyed every bit of it. Chris Jericho isn't known for asking the hard-hitting questions. I am glad it wasn't as guarded as I thought it was going to be. I did enjoy the honest responses Stephanie McMahon provided. This and along with the one with John Cena were really good. It really allows the whomever is being interviewed the chance to clear up some misconceptions about their career. I don't feel the one with Stephanie McMahon to be a waste of time at all. I am glad Shane McMahon was brought up. Considering the allegations made my the dirty sheets that both Shane & Stephanie were at odds with each other.
Chris Jericho has very good interview skills and it shows on his two WWE Network specials and also on Talk Is Jericho. I try to absorb as much knowledge as possible from these specials and listening to various wrestling podcasts.
I really think people are setting their expectations way too high for specials like Live with Chris Jericho. I didn't know what to expect and I am glad I have that mentality. It was good. Just two people, shooting the breeze and talking about various topics.

It wasn't hard hitting but it was very insightful and interesting. I think worth the watch

I enjoyed it a bunch but I think it was the weakest of the podcast specials so far. If you listen to Jericho's podcast on a regular basis you would know that his show is more about sitting around telling stories, not asking hard hitting questions. Austin is more of a hard hitting questions guy. If you expected anything else then I don't feel sorry for you for being disappointed.

people need to forget about it being this hard-hitting real-life type of thing...
if this is a Network show, it's going to be produced, written and controlled by the WWE. end of story. its just going to be used to further storyline (what little they have) and promote. while giving the "dumb fans" an "exclusive inside look at the lives of the superstars"

I blame it all on Chyna's overreaction. Vince got cold feet after that.

Obviously I prefer Steve Austin's hard hitting questions to Chris Jericho just having a discussion. I don't think the Jericho podcasts are bad by any means, but they aren't as good as Austin's to me. I loved Chris Jericho but for a while now, he's kind of come off like a tool a lot of the times. I still listen to Talk is Jericho when there's a guest I enjoy.
As for the Stephanie interview, it wasn't bad but it was kind of dull. I enjoyed the Jericho/Cena one but something about this one was kind of meh.

All i heard about this podcast was that it sucked. I strongly prefer Austin doing these monthly podcasts on the network since he is a great interviewer who has great conversations with his guest(s) and gets answers to the hard questions.

Haven't watched it yet, but the Cena one sucked (no pun intended). Austin's podcasts were good because he asked the hard-hitting questions. Live! With Chris Jericho is awful, just like Talk is Jericho. I know some will disagree, but oh well.

I enjoy Austin's podcast much more than Jericho's.

It just seemed to drag on forever, to me.
Nothing that interesting was really discussed, outside of maybe Shane.
What makes it worse is WWE was billing this as some ultra-controversial thing, and Jericho couldn't even say "ho train". Like, you know going in what you're gonna get with Jericho, so don't try to BS people into thinking it's something it's not.

Enjoyed it, apart from Jericho's fake sycophantic laugh that he does in every interview. It was nice to see two friends discussing their shared adventures. I wasn't expecting an hour of discussing items from the wrestling sleaze list.

I read a summary, seemed decent. Jericho isn't nearly as good as Austin, but he is good.

It was a nice little chit chat, didn't expect much. This is the Bobby Heenan trashing Santa segment, I love it, destroying childhoods like it's nothing. lol

Was going to read the thoughts on it here before I watch and I am glad I did. I saved an hour of my time by not watching it.
