Im on my mobile phone, so apologies if this doesn't load or format correctly. Just saw this interesting quote in an article about the "expansion" of the current National Wrestling Alliance.
"We currently have authentic exact replicas of all the NWA Office championships, Current T-shirts and all issues up to date of the Official NWA Ringside Magazine. We are also pleased to announce that we currently have a deal pending with Figures Inc. for expansions in our merchandising of the NWA."
Now I'm quite intrigued seeing as how the current NWA seems to be only a handful of independent or smaller promotions. What "big" names could they do to support a figure line? I'm interested to see how this progresses.
Comments, anyone?

With the NWA, I think, combining a lot of the "smaller" indies, including stuff like CWFH, it could be great. You may get folks like Cabana, Adam Pearce, Joey Ryan, Vermin, etc.
Edit: I just realized we could get a Stu Stone figure with this. Please let it be so....STU.S.A for life.

Something else to consider- NWA figures would most likely be in RA style seeing as it's the same company that's making the ROH figs. Would this possibly be a way to see some of the RA style figs that we're proposed but we never saw during the Jakks CS line (Cornette, Blackjack Mulligan, Jimmy Garvin, Dory Funk Jr., etc)?

CWFH is not an NWA territory anymore. Rats. I thought they still were. Thanks for the info. Is there any UWN and NWA overlap?

Where in that quote does it say that they're making action figures? Figures Inc. makes a lot of stuff and their version of "expansions" might just be those ridiculous finger rings.

You're exactly right - I just assumed that they were referring to action figures but it could very well end up being something else totally, even those stupid finger rings. For what it's worth, there was also this quote from a different site by a Figures Inc. employee. His quote was: "The NWA deal, at this point, is different from any impending Legends or indy/free agent line. Can't say much about the NWA because the deal is still in pending status (as mentioned on their site). We are currently establishing our upcoming figure plans in-house." Anyway, I apologize for jumping the gun - hopefully we can get some clarification soon, but man I really hope the deal is for action figures. I've got a lot of holes in my RA collection I'd love to fill!

The only Figures Toy Co merchandise for the NWA I'd want is a ruthless aggression style Eazy E.
