This is a pretty self-explanatory question, for good reasons or bad, what is are some games you'll never forget? For me, game four of the 2006 ALCS with Maggilo's home run is my number one. I'll never forget the almost perfect Armando Galarraga game either. The 2013 Sweet Sixteen Michigan/Kansas game is up there too (that whole season really) and football wise definitely the 2011 Michigan/Notre Dame comeback game Under the Lights, really all of the 2009-2011 UM/ND games. Also the 2006 OSU/UM #1 vs. #2 game in Columbus is also a big one too, despite the outcome. Share some of the games that are unforgettable to you.

Personally:
New Jersey Devils def. Pittsburgh Penguins, 2001. The first sports game I EVER went to. Can't forget that.
Pittsburgh Steelers def. Arizona Cardinals, Super Bowl 43. We won the Super Bowl for the first time in my life a few years prior and that was special, but it wasn't exactly a close game. 43 however, even after James Harrison's Sivlerback play at the half, it still looked like the Steelers were going to lose because, you know, Larry. Then THAT THROW. THAT CATCH. I legit lost my mind.
Atlanta Braves def. Pittsburgh Pirates, 2011 19 innings. JERRY MEALS CALLED HIM SAFE?!?! We tanked after that. Was it destiny to start sucking, prolly. But that killed every ounce of confidence we had.
New York Islanders def. Pittsburgh Penguins, 2012. The Long Island Brawl. We knew there would be repercussions for Brent Johnson ending the season of Rick "GlassJaw" DiPietro and even Crosby knew he was going to have to fight at some point. But what Trevor Gilles did to Eric Tangredi should have gotten him a ban from the league. He fought Eric, won easy, then bashed his head against the boards and continuously beat Tangredi's head off of the ice. Team doctor said Eric suffered one of the most severe concussions he had ever seen and Gilles wasn't done yet! Gets off of a now bloody, unconscious and limp Tangredi and goes after Johnson. Eric Goddard took a mandatory suspension by coming off of the bench and helping Johnson whoop Gilles's ass, but what Gilles did was attempted homicide and he got like, an eight game suspension. Disgusting.
Pittsburgh Pirates def. Cincinnati Reds, October 2013, Wild Card game. CUEEEEEETO. CUEEEEETO. First time in my entire life we'd ever been to the playoffs, and living in Pittsburgh the energy was something else. I knew we weren't losing that game.
Non Personal:
Flyers def. Senators 2004. All I'll say is when a game can be played to the tune of "Enter Sandman" you know it's brutal. I think the game finished with like...3 players on the entire team left for Philly and four for the Sens and the coaches were ready to fight too. Insanity.
Syracuse def. Uconn 2010, 6OT. I decided I was going to kick back and watch a quick college basketball game between two very good teams. Some four hours later, the marathon was over. That was something else.
Galaragga (im)perfect game. I didn't get to see the whole game because it's not in market, but ESPN cut to it in the 7th. Final out, he gets and I give a round of applause. Then I find out he was called safe and like everyone else, I lose my sh*t. Crazy.

Marshall vs WKU this past college football season. Went to that game on a whim and it was the most exciting I've ever been to.

Flyers def. Senators 2004. All I'll say is when a game can be played to the tune of "Enter Sandman" you know it's brutal. Love that video. For the Titans - Rob Bironas' 60 yard game winning field goal against the Colts in '06. The good old days back when I thought they might have something with Vince Young. - Losing in the '08 Divisional round to the Ravens after being the number one seed. Alge Crumpler's fumble at the goal line is forever etched in my mind. Still not over it. - That 59-0 game against the Patriots in '09. Between the score, the fact it was played in the snow in October, both teams wearing throwback uniforms, and that the Patriots receivers were running wide open down the field continually it is by far the closest equivalent to Madden being played on rookie difficulty in real life. For the Blues - Game 2 vs. The Sharks in the '12 Playoffs when they won like 3-0 and the game ending with several fights that the Blues all won. Subsequently the only playoff series I've seen the Blues ever win. Other - Cardinals/Steelers SB. Fitzgerald taking the slant for the TD followed by Roethlisberger and Holmes disappointing everyone watching who wasn't a Steelers fan. - Marshawn Lynch's beast mode run against the Saints.

Mine will echo TRW's a little bit
Good 1992 NLCS Game 7 Braves vs Pirates (Frankie Cabrera drives home 2 runs, 2 out bottom 9th, Bream slides home safe, watched it the other week) 1995 World Series Game 6 (It is was a great moment, 1 hitter by Glavine. As great as it was to win, it was also a feeling of relief) 1998 NFC Championship Game (Falcons over Vikings) 2001 Wild Card game (Falcons over GB, thought it was the beginning of great things (Vick) thought very wrong)
Bad 1996 World Series Game 4 (Braves blow 6 run lead against Yankees. Terrible game, decisions, etc, we win it, we win it we go on to win series) 1991 World Series Game 7 (Twins over Braves, 1-0, 10 innings. Not that bad of a memory really, just a great great baseball game)
2012 NFC Championship Game (49ers over Falcons. We gave it away more so than they beat us. Had a real shot and haven't recovered)

You can argue all day long that San Fran was the better team on paper and be correct except for at the most important position (QB). Blow a 17 pt lead at Home. Got a QB making what his 9th start I don't know, and in that environment. Our D had been good all yr, top 5 scoring D, but was consumed by the read option in the playoffs. Roddy White fell on a route, led to Int, we were very close to FG range. Biggest play was the Ryan fumble. We were inside the 30, blitz was picked up, Gonzalez was wide open for 10-15 yard gain, that was points and the biggest swing. Harry Douglas falling down on what possibly could have been a TD on last drive. Other smaller plays that stick out and the sequence of the last 4 plays. Tough loss and look at us now. Who knows if we ever get back to that point.

Which is why I tell people that we missed the boat not winning it that year cause it was a flash in the pan offense and is pretty much irrelevant now. SF had an elite defense but Atlanta's offense in general was better then ours completely. We were 1 dimensional (running O) but that one dimension was deadly. Atlanta was more of an "all around" balanced O.

The one game I'll never forget was the Phillies vs The Reds on 5/25/11. My best friend and I bought last minute tickets to the game. The Reds were leading us and Howard was up. My friend and I got up to leave because after watching Howard regress we knew where it was going. Then we heard the crowd go nuts as Howard hit a homer to tie the game up. We started in the 400 level where our seats were, then as each inning went on we moved closer and closer to the field. Finally by the 17th inning we were on the 3rd base side sitting a few rows from the field (it was close to midnight and no one wanted to stay). We stuck it out and then Wilson Valdez went from playing to pitching in the 19th. He got his three outs and we went nuts then Raul brought home the run to secure the victory. Valdez was the first player since Babe Ruth to start a game in the field and end up being the winning pitcher. Until Philly sees another championship, this will be the greatest game I've been to.

The Shot...no not Jordan, LeBron game 4 against the Magic, down 1-0 in the series. 1.0 seconds left Mo Williams(One of the Cavs most underrated players ever) inbounds the ball James puts up the ball as time expires. The shot goes in Cavs win by 1 the team rushes the court will never forget the image of LeBron screaming as he is being surrounded by the team. That's one to YouTube my friends.

The one game I'll never forget as long as I live will be the 2010 Eagles vs Giants game where the Eagles trailed by 21 in the 4 quarter and came back and scored 28 points to win the game in the final seconds. I was watching the game on my tv and got extremely angry after the Giants final Touchdown. I turned off my tv and went outside to have a smoke and went out to my car and turned on the radio and listened to the rest of the game in my car. Merrill Reese call on the game in that stretch was one of the greatest calls I have ever heard.
