I recently finished setting up my collection and thought I'd share some pics with everyone. I don't have the space or the collection to have a wrestling "room", and I don't think my wife would allow it anyway, so I just set up my figures in a corner of my home office. Besides the unpainted ones on top, all the figures are hand painted prototype "statues", and I really love that look versus the rubber figures, especially the difference in how they display. I know some people are still unsure of their legitimacy, so I plan to send a couple to get graded at some point to see what they think. I saw some really nice LJN collection displays shown on this board, and wanted to do something similar, but since these figures are somewhat delicate, I needed to ensure they would be safe from falling over so I encased them in individual boxes and put them in their own shelf space. I'm keeping the extra LJN figure stand just in case I get a chance to purchase that unpainted Snuka figure I missed out on last year (contact me if you own it and are looking to let it go!) and the six empty boxes will be filled with custom series 6 unproduced figures I plan to make when I get around to it.

Thanks Ozz. Thanks Aaron.
Ah, yes, the TV. Had that thing for a while. I have my Wii hooked up to it for Netflix. I have one in the other room that's even older. That one doesn't even have the AV hookups in the front.
Since I still play my NES from time to time I need to keep some older TVs around. I tried to play Zelda 2 on my sister's top of the line TV and for some reason the sound wouldn't work. Oh, that and my VCR so I can play my WWF Coliseum videos. You young kids may have to google "VCR".

Awesome collection man. I like the print ads in the back. Where did under the red and white poster? I haven't seen that before

Cool posters. Love those protos too. What are they made of? Do they feel rubbery like the regular LJN's?

Awesome display! The framed ads make it look so official. What is the ad on the left with all the writing and no images?

Arun, I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I got the red and white ads from The Wrestling Ring company after I (really my parents) ordered some of their figures. Nate, these are hard figurines, like mini statues. I'm not sure what exactly they're made of, but I took a pic of Honky's foot below which is chipped. They could be resin, but I really have no idea what they're made of. It's hard to see in the pics but just about all of them have dings, marks, and some paint chips, and a few are pretty dirty in certain areas. Not sure if you guys can see that in the pics. WhyDraft2, I'll have to get back to you on the type of shelf and boxes these are. I can't remember, but my wife will know. Jason, that other framed advertisement with only writing on it is like a press release or something like that, from one of the advertising agencies that was working for LJN at the time. It talks about the WWF Superstars line, and how 10 new figures are set to come out in 1988. I have that one, and a couple others too. I added a regular Harley in the pic to show the slight difference in size with those two. I think most of these figures are slightly larger than the produced figures, except for Steele which is about the same size, and Honky which is actually smaller than the released figure. I like the smaller size better; I think they made him too tall.

Whydraft2, To answer your question about the shelves, it was purchased from Target and is simply a ClosetMaid Cubical Shelf. We were using it for books, until I noticed that a couple of black shadowboxes we purchased from an arts and crafts store were just about a perfect fit. So I decided to buy more of the shadowboxes to fill up the shelves.
The shadow boxes have to be the right size though. Most of them you'll come across don't have enough room to hold an LJN figure. The ones I have are 10" by 10", and have enough depth for the figures.

Man I bet they were hard to let go. Hopefully unfortunate circumstances were not the reason, at least.

Love the way that Slaughter figure looks. It's so much better than the mail away figure they released.
