I don't care for him. His gimmick really holds him down too.

I liked him when I first saw him in FCW teaming with Big E,but didn't think a ton of him. The way he has constantly gotten better since coming up to the main roster, though, has been great to see. He is amazing for a guy his size and has all the tools to be a top star.

High midcarder. I see him filling Umaga's role. Not a main eventer but a guy you can throw with them. When he finally looses I feel he'll be dead in the water.

I've gotten less sour on him now that his hair is longer. It sounds petty but I hated his short hair, it ruined his look and made me not buy into the character.

I have been impressed with Rusev since his win over Big E. I also said a week or two ago that Rusev should beat Cena and the rematch at WM would be huge.
and now it is in fairness.....I was very impressed by Vince doing the right thing here.

To me Rusev is the definition of a professional wrestler. He doesnt quite fit in with the "Superstar" caliber roster of today but makes up for it in his performance (similar to del rio). Overall I am entertained by him and the fact that the wwe machine seems to be behind him.

Sandow I have found entertaining pretty much since day one. And have said many times should be either the IC or US champion. Rusev has done nothing in the ring to impress me. I don't care how good his expressions are his wrestling just isn't memorable to me. I watched Fast lane last night and honestly besides the kick to the nuts I don't remember a single move he did last night. And that has nothing to do with his gimmick. The same can be said about the diva match last night. I know I watched it, but I can't remember a thing about it other than I think Nikki was in yellow? There always has to be one. I for one agree, so I guess there's always the one that agrees with the one

I love Rusev and Lana. At first I thought he'd be another vladimir kozlov, but I'm glad he broke out of that, thanks to Lana.

He is a lot better now but I still would not consider myself a fan of his.

I dont mind him as much now. He has definitely showed alot of improvement since coming onto the main roster. He is also speaking alot more on the mic, which is great because i initially thought he was going to be a mute while Lana does all the talking. Only thing now is we have to see how he survives when his undefeated streak is gone. Eventually i'd like to see him go away from the whole Russian cheap heat gimmick because it will get stale fast. Especially when he finally lose.

If his gimmick is crap then how do people claim Muhammed Hassan was a great heel.... Very interesting and good point. However, Hassan started as a man proud of his culture and became hated for who he portrayed.

However, Hassan started as a man proud of his culture and became hated for who he portrayed. Hassan was a a case of controversy creates cash, just like Rusev. If the war in iraq was not going on Hassan wouldnt have had that character, had these recent American/Russian conflicts were not happening then neither would Rusev. Its all the same. That said Rusev is better then any nationality based gimmick I've seen in some time.

Quite honestly, I think getting injured and having to come back was great for him. I'm still glad he didn't pursue the gimmick he came back with though.
Can you imagine how quickly he would have been shat on by the fans if he was still wearing the loin cloth and coming out with planks of wood?

For me, he's one of the very few guys in WWE that I feel are must watch TV. Bray Wyatt was another, but we all know what happened there. Hopefully they won't stop the ball with Russev as well.

He puts on great matches. Lana is smoking hot. That's enough for me.
