I would love to get some of those "sick" figures you're talking about, that figures do not stir the legs and come with a cloak cover for the wrestler's signatures. There are still some figures selling in Arena Mexico? Unfortunatelly, those AAA figures are only prototypes. They never were sold out...

Yeah I guess I'm most angry their heads won't be to scale with Mattel and also frustrated with what the guy who handles their marketing is trying to sell that the jakks scale is better since wrestlers are suppose to be larger than life, I have. Hard time buying crap from a guy who is trying that hard to convince me that Rey Mysterio and big show look better as jakks figures than mattel He had to try to put a positive spin on it though. Did you expect him to come right out and admit that his figures were going to be inferior and give the honest explanation that due to cost, they're recycling parts from a defunct line that it has been agreed upon doesn't measure up to the newer mattel line. I believe they'll do everything they can to try to make up for the fact that they're using these wildly inappropriate parts but I kinda doubt there's anything that can be done. No amount of highly detailed paint deco or fabric accessories will make giving a 180 pound man the same body, arms and legs that have been used on a 280 pound man. I had at least been hoping to hear that they had access to the full array of jakks molds but the guy said that they had two torso molds to choose from.

My interest is not yet lost, but there is definite concern on my end. There are a lot of figures that are being sold for even worse prices than that ($20 for 3 3/4 Cthulhu figures, $25 plus for 3 3/4 GI Joe Cub figs), but I pass on all those. I gotta draw the line somewhere. These better be pretty damn cool if they are gonna be $20 each. Has their price been confirmed somewhere or are y'all just taking this from my speculation? He told us "elite prices" before he was banned.

I'm also hoping they're not like the LLUSA figures from a few years back...

I'm also hoping they're not like the LLUSA figures from a few years back... They won't be... These will be way worse. These will have fewer points of articulation and those all had mostly unique parts. The accessories included with the roh figs will hopefully be as good but probably be no better and the same goes for the paint deco. Head sculpts is the only category where I see them having a chance at being superior because that jindrak sculpt left a lot to be desired.

Playmates should use that gusto to create Lucha Underground action figures.

I'm also hoping they're not like the LLUSA figures from a few years back... I thought those were quite good. What was wrong with them? Because they were DA style instead or RA? These are supposed to be RA style figs with new heads. I think most Japanese "figures" are pretty bad, for instance - a lot of them don't even have articulation. So while Mattel Elites are the apex of wrestling figures, that doesn't mean we can't appreciate what other companies do - it could always be worse.

Nothing really wrong, but I ended up headswapping most of them onto RAs...I have six bodies I can't do anything with. That kind of thing, nothing 'wrong' per se. The Japanese figures are more like statues, you're right...just a matter of preference...

Yeah the LLUSA figures were really good for the most part. That was a pretty good line, albeit so short. The problem was LLUSA had a pretty terrible roster.
