That's a great idea because the guys setting up the ring seem to forget their ladders, tables, chairs, thumbtacks, and Singapore canes under the ring.

They don't use the ring skirt on Raw & Smackdown because it's just not ready to be called up to the main roster.

I think it's only a matter of time before we see those on the main shows, or maybe for PPVs. Maybe they'll even start it at WM 31?

I like it just on NXT. Makes it stand out more. As has been mentioned, it would be a lot of effort to carry it around and put up with each show. I'm not sure where someone got that the ring in NXT is smaller. That makes zero sense. I agree the ring LOOKS smaller on TV, but I'm sure that's a presentation aspect rather than the ring actually being smaller. If they want guys to get ready for the main roster and have a set of WWE sized rings for training, why wouldn't they use one for their show?

I think logistically it wouldn't make sense because they'd have to travel with it. Far too much chance it'd get damaged.

The only thing that'd deter it on the main roster is that it'd be difficult to lift the apron to grab a weapon from under the ring. But considering during weapons matches nowadays they just litter ringside with the things I don't see this being a problem. Can you imagine Finlay still wrestling and trying to use his "trap his opponent in the apron then beat him up" spot with these ring skirts? This thread made me look at it closer on NXT. The screens are actually only on one side, maybe two. The other sides still have regular aprons. So really you could still get stuff from under the ring it looks like.
