The announcement will be that the WWE Universe is fired, again.

The more I think about this, the more I think they're going to troll us with the announcement being about Curtis Axel.

By winning the Royal Rumble, Reigns just won a chance to be in the REAL Royal Rumble, tonight on RAW. Bryan wins Rumble; Reigns vs HHH at Mania. I dunno. Theres really no good way to book themselves out of this situation two years in a row. Whatever they decide to do, prepare to do some serious eye-rolling. There's no bad situation that they're in. They're about to give us a sweet title match at Mania.

5 bucks says it's gonna be a bigger announcement than whatever Dixie Carter considers to be huge announcements. This!

The word "controversial" was thrown around like nothing. In kayfabe, what exactly was controversial about Reigns' victory? It was awful and I would love to see the main event of WrestleMania be changed (blow me), but this really seems like WWE trying their hardest to make it seem like this was their plan all along and it has nothing to do with the backlash. agreed. Kayfabe wise there is little logic in it. Furthermore, why did they keep making the call "some people thought Bryan should have won the Rumble"? Kayfabe wise, no, he was eliminated fair and square. Don't get me wrong I do think they should have booked it differently, but in the scripted world that aspect made sense. Now don't get me started on the logic of other things... Like how stupid it looked for Show and Kane to get mad and then fight distracted whilst being eliminated, then totally forget their beef to go beat up Reigns. Whatever HHH's announcement, eh, I dont have a guess that hasn't already been made. I hope it involves fast-tracking another opponent into a main event position... Although it might just be Roman vs Show and Kane... Snoozefest.

Everyone still seems to be overlooking the name of the PPV. 'FASTLANE.' Someone is getting hot shotted into something. Main event of WM, perhaps. They already did that with Reigns.

What are the chances that the announcement is the Stipulation to the Main Event Match/Match Type, whatever you wanna call it...
I don't think they will change the Main Event this year like they did last year. Why? Well because Roman is already getting a mixed reaction(John Cena type of reaction), so why change it? Nothing will change the reaction he's getting. If they changed the Main Event again, and all of the sudden nobody Boos Roman Reigns again then the Fans would look pretty stupid.

I feel like it is most likely to be a Rollins vs. Reigns match for his spot at the next PPV so the fans can be shown that Reigns is worthy of his stardom.

Reigns vs Lesnar happens early at Fast Lane. Reigns wins and turns heel and aligns with the Authority. Bryan challenges Reigns for the title at Wrestlemania. Lesnar goes on to face Authorities new muscle, Sheamus.
None of this will happen....

Reigns vs Whoever at Fast Lane, if he loses he won't be in the main event at Wrestlemania. Which will make the Royal Rumble match even more obsolete and pointless..... Maybe he'll announce that for the first time ever, whoever loses the main event championship match gets fired....and the match is no dq or count out... that way they have an excuse to write out Lesnar if he heads back to UFC....

I'm seeing a fatal four way or six pack challenge at Mania with the participants other than Reigns and Lesnar qualifying at Fastlane.

Having Reigns face Bryan for the rumble spot and lose just takes away the credibility of the rumble, each year we'll think "oh it doesn't matter, it can be taken away whenever". Reigns HAS to go on to be in the wwe world title match otherwise the rumble is pointless.

Triple H needs to put Rollins in the match.

Either he's saying it was controversial because Rock came in during the middle of the match while Rusev was still in. Or because of Reigns piss poor reaction

That would make the situation 10 times worse. That would confirm Brock is heading back to UFC. Sure, it's expected right now but it's not 100% known. A loser leaves town stipulation guarantees a Reigns victory and makes an already obvious situation more obvious for a crowd that will actively be looking to boo this match before it starts. I'm honestly looking for HHH to add more guys to the main event. Maybe it's a F4W, maybe a 6 man HIAC, or even a chamber match for the title, but I think they have to do something to create the illusion that someone besides Reigns could win the title at Mania. I don't think Reigns' spot is really in jeopardy. I just think WWE is going to do the same thing they did for Rumble, so adding more pieces to the puzzle to up the quality and intrigue of the match.

I have a lot more respect for Big Show after last night. Man, Roman Reigns looked so bad. It was like Big Show was wrestling himself.
I'm hoping Triple H's huge RAW announcement will lead toward a change to the Wrestlemania Title match.

The whole thing reeks of desperation, whatever it is.
WWE has grown far too accustomed to throwing around the word "controversial" when something blows up in their face. There was nothing "controversial" about the Royal Rumble match from a storyline perspective, it was just piss poor, lazy and thoughtless booking. The match had a beginning, middle, and end, and Roman Reigns won fair and square.
The only thing "controversial" about the match was how ignorant and moronic WWE proved themselves to be. Now they're stuck, just like last year.
My expectation here is that the Authority places Reigns in some type of match or tournament to make it appear as though they're screwing him out of his title shot, in a final attempt to try to get the crowd back on board with him. If it fails, and he wins the thing, then they're really, really screwed.
