Wasn't that bad, but yeah, he definitely could have worded it better.

I don't have a problem with his comment. We'd all be thinking the same thing if we were in his shoes.

Reigns should just be heel if he's going to keep getting crapped on by the fans.

Even if Roman Reigns had a ***** match at WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar, he still wouldn't get a pop from the majority of you. Needless to say, this wasn't the best way of saying it, but people need to lay off him. He's new to the main event spotlight, he'll take time to properly adjust and act accordingly.

IMO that wasn't really bad......but I do feel it could've been worded a touch better.

Well he's got a point. Why punish him for saying the truth?

It's very easy to take something like this out of context. He could have easily said that last part as a joke.

Reigns should just be heel if he's going to keep getting crapped on by the fans. Because the internet speaks for the entire fanbase...

What's wrong with what he said? Maybe just the way he said it but the actual content isn't bad. He says the company is going to do what it wants and hopefully he's the one they go with and he can make a lot of money along the way. Maybe it comes off as douchey but what he means is what I bet they all feel. They all feel the company is going to do what it wants and they hope they are the ones that get the jetpack strapped to them and they get to make a ton of money on the way to the top. Almost exactly what I said in the Roman Reigns thread when this was posted. So agreed, 100% It's basic sense, that ANY of us would say in our job. If our company is going to do what they feel is best for the company, don't you hope you benefit from it? Dude's a father. Put food on the table. #1 job. And you can love something, and still want to make a lot of money doing it. People and their high horses. It's funny because the main people who are on high horses aren't the ones saying they hate Roman Reigns. The high horses ones are the people who come in to laugh and ridicule the people who don't agree with Roman's push. As a fan, you can dislike or like something and we have this forum to discuss that. But instead of discussions, we just get "go cry in your basement you smark." That high horse mentality is absurd.

I've gone into the WrestleMania thread and admitted that I would love to see them kill it. I want Roman Reigns to succeed. Myself and a few others have been saying what you basically just said. This wasn't the best way to say things, and it is very possible that it happened because he is new to having to talk to the media as a top guy. But of course saying "Oh, Roman could have worded that better" is somehow read as "ROMAN REIGNS SUX HE SHOULD BE A JOBBER", which still confuses me.

I'd say "just turn him heel already", but we've already got our top heel. His name is Seth Rollins, and despite being an Internet darling, he's managed to make everyone absolutely hate him.
So, really, in the grand scheme of things, there's just no true place for Roman Reigns right now.
I really don't see much of an issue with the comment, though, other than perhaps his phrasing. It's just a heelish move.

You mean a guy who wants to stay gainfully employed in a job he loves to support his family is in it for the MONEY?!?!
What an a-hole, kill him, burn his face with acid, fire him, redo the rumble and have him eliminated FIRST!!!

Nothing wrong with the statement in the quote -- but the usuals will just latch onto it clutching at straws to feed their anti-WWE, anti-Reigns campaign.
The questionable stuff he did in that interview was the pathetic "MOST OF MY CRITICS WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO LOCK UP SO HOW CAN THEY TELL ME ANYTHING" nonsense that no top wrestler should be saying in this day and age. Cena should have a word with him.
