I never saw The Nasty Boys two pack at retail, same with LOD. I remember seeing The Rockers and Bushwackers everywhere. Though the Rockers easily took the cake for peg after peg filled. Half the time my dad wouldn't bother looking through them as it was a waste of time he said.
If stores weren't loaded with Rockers double packs, it was then Scott Steiners.
I got LOD from my parents for Easter one year, but like I said above, they bought from Russ.

I live in the UK and I can't remember ever seeing the Purple, Dark Blue or Green carded figures for sale. Anyone else of the same opinion? Tesco's actually ended up being the main place I remember having those later sets

I'm from a very small town in central Illinois and we didn't have a Toys-R-Us or Hills or any of these others stores. All we had was Wal-Mart and a store (for a short while) called Pamida. I got my first figure (Ric Flair) at Pamida, and then they closed shortly after. I got the rest of my figures, for the most part at Wal-Mart and the final series they carried was the Tito Santana series (which is same as Flairs series, right?). In 1995-1996 when I moved over by Indianapolis Indiana, I found for the first time in my life, a KB Toys store and I picked up the entire Yellow Card Series (minus Owen, wasn't there) plus LOD tag pack. At random times throughout the years, I'd travel to Evansville Indiana and go to the stores there, where I found Headshrinkers, Marty #2 (singles), and DiBiase in wrestling tights. It was really hard to come by Hasbro's in my area. How I managed to have the amount I did, shocks me. I honestly never bought many figures from stores. Luckily I managed to find really nice condition figures from swap meets and yard sells and antique stores, I guess. On second though, I did see at least 1 of the Green Series in the KB Toys store that I found the Yellow series. Instead of Yellow Card Owen, they had Green Card Adam Bomb. I got it plus the Yellow guys, plus LOD for my birthday. I had a relative who collected Hasbro Figures as well and we used to trade figures (for keeps). I ended up trading him my Adam Bomb, which he later sold on EBay. The buyer contacted him because the paint was wrong on the figure. Instead of having the yellow "smoke?" on both shoulders coming down to his chest, he only had it coming off of his left shoulder. Just thought I'd throw that in, as I almost forgot about it. Can't believe I got rid of Adam Bomb, who I paid $8.99 for (or my Mom did, rather).

The last WWF Hasbro figures I bought at Toys R Us (in Mobile, AL) were purple Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels in black & silver tights.
And I think that was in late fall of 1994. I never saw any new ones at that store afterwards.

I never saw The Nasty Boys two pack at retail, same with LOD. I never saw the Nasty Boys at retail once (I'm in West Virginia, for what it's worth). I got them for Christmas as a kid, and later found out that my parents had ordered them directly from Hasbro. LOD, on the other hand, were everywhere, but not nearly as much as the Rockers. The Rockers were peg warming well into the BCA days. They were the BCA Dr. Death and Jacqueline of the Hasbro era. LOD on foreign cards resurfaced at KB during the time when the foreign carded figures started popping up on clearance.

The only place I ever saw the Nasty Boys at retail was Toy Liquidators. I used to love Toy Liquidators because I would occasionally find figures I would never see at retail there. I'm not sure why, but the only place I ever saw Honky Tonk Man and Bossman 2 were at Toy Liquidators. I'm pretty sure I got both on the same day, making me wonder if they were in a case by themselves. I didn't see the Nasties until many years later though. Oddly enough, the same day that they had the Nasties there was a full peg of MOC LJN Honky Tonk Man. If I were older I would've taken advantage. I'm kicking myself now for both of those...and of course the MOC LJN Rick Rudes and the inexplicable box of loose LJN Haku (yes, a whole box of loose LJN Haku. What?)
As for tru, the last Hasbros I ever remember buying there were Yoko and Luger from the red series. Pretty sure I never saw anything after that at TRU.

I live in the UK and I can't remember ever seeing the Purple, Dark Blue or Green carded figures for sale. Anyone else of the same opinion? My impression of the line was that it struck out with kids back then. I'm not sure why, but it seemed like I not only saw them everywhere, but large amounts of them were on clearance. I initially had no plans of collecting Hasbros, but a friend of mine (who was also a wrestling fan) noticed a particular aisle in a local Hills piled up with all of the series from '93-'94, including tag team packs and the green card figs. Each of us ended up with 40-50 figure collections in a year's time because they became so tempting at dirt cheap prices. This is only anecdotal evidence, of course, but it seems like Hasbro became popular with adult collectors after the line was discontinued. It could be that Hasbro didn't bother to ship them to many international retailers since they weren't selling well in the States.

Man, I always felt like you guys on the East coast had more access to these figures. Coming from a small town in Northern California I always had to venture out to find some of my Hasbros. But I do remember not seeing any of the color coded sets at Toys R Us also. I think the last figures I bought there were Tatanka and Tito Santana. I ended up getting the rest of the color coded sets from KayBee Toys, although I never actually came across any of the yellow or green carded figures. Not a single one. It's like they skipped those two sets. As far as I know, Western PA, WV, Virginia, Cleveland and Eastern Ohio and Eastern North Carolina did well with the Green card distribution just from talking to different folks. From what I hear, NYC, Philly, and Boston were nearly skipped over completely re: Green Card distribution. Yeah man, Philly didn't get much but they had to get something because I got a green Ludvig Borga. I can't remember from where though, but definitely in Philadelphia area. Last TRU series I remember seeing was Red Cards as I opened a case and picked out Luger, Bam Bam and Yoko (only the new figures, repaints I left). I might've picked up a Kamala and/or Owen at TRU, but can't say for sure.

Toys r us was always hit or.miss for me....Kay Bee became my go to store.....I rarely left there disappointed or empty handed. They always seemed to get new sets first..... I really miss that place so much. The one in the mall in my area still has the big column entrance shape and paint for the new store standing in its place and it kills me every time to walk by it....I wish they would have just remodeled the whole thing....does anyone remember Clover?? I remember finding the entire yellow card series there. It was one of the greatest days for me as a kid since I was excited the most for that set when I first saw it in the WWF magazine....since it was the days before ths internet findings reports, I used to wonder if the green card set even existed. It was like a legend to me at the time....
