I think some people may be misunderstanding what this is saying. They're not going to stop calling it WM31, WM32, etc etc, they just mean the roman numerals will no longer be part of the logo anymore. If that is the case then it is no real big deal. They most likely just want to eliminate all the numbers to prevent the logo from getting cluttered. For the record I don't give one sh*t about the numbers......but I do think there are one or two items that could be preoccupying Vinnie this week other than this "burning problem"......LOL

If I had the network I definitely wouldn't be canceling it because of this or anything that happened this week, lots of old stuff to watch, and $10 a month is a good deal. We used to sit through weeks of rubbish in the Superstars, Wrestling Challenge, and Primetime days, often as the main event. We'd get something like the Bushwhackers vs Beverly Bros as a spotlighted match.

I would stay up till 11 on a school night just to see Big Boss Man vs Jim Powers as the Main Event. If that ain't some s**t I don't know what is. People today don't know how great it is to have quality matches on TV for 5 hours a week.

It made the commentators and hosts that much more important, and why I want Mattel to make them so bad, they were there throughout the whole show or hosting it, they made up for what the matches lacked often, or at least tried. Lots of those early Raws aren't so hot, but I can listen to Vince, Heenan and Savage. Part of the reason I caved and bought Duggan after telling myself I wouldn't was that he was on Primetime with Vince, HBJ, Heenan and Perfect. Imagine if he had those old terrible matches with Michael Cole and King, would be the worst.

so ing stupid. what happened to the legacy and heritage of WrestleMania. WWE can go themselves. Just another reason to cancel the network. Umm...thank you marino13 for quoting this and bringing it to my attention. This might be one of the worst posts I've ever read. Is numbering an event really that big of a deal? Posts like this are why others on this forum say such negative things about fans. You have the people who say "numerals not being there isn't a big deal, but Vince's idea that it makes it old is kind of dumb." Then there's a post like this. If you really think it should be WWE because numerals are a legit reason to cancel your network then that's kind of sad. It's one thing to cancel because your dislike the direction of the company, but because WrestleMania logos won't have "31" or "32" on it is one of the most asinine things I have ever read. @cabbageconkers, I take back what I said. "The Outlaws gave Cody Rhodes the best matches of his career" is not the worst thing I've read on this board. This is. I already canceled my subscription before reading about the numbers.

I basically stopped watching from somewhere around WM19 or 20 to last year just before 30, so yea there was, I wasn't too interested in Triple H or John Cena. I didn't start giving the current stuff another chance until after I started collecting the Legends line and Flashbacks.

Wrestlemania was in 1985. Whatever they made a joke out of it with WM2000 and 25th anniversary too. It could be worse, they could have scrapped the name and logo altogether. Vince is always on his 'it's not wrestling it's sports entertainment' kick and yet his premier event is called Wrestlemania, you'd think it was in peril too. The kind of silliness that reminds me of the alternate WWE title redesigns. Hey, number 4 is actually good. The rest are ridiculous

You're right, and those belt designs were absolutely horrendous. Seriously? #5 is ing sweet. I've said this numerous times, but that fifth one I'd actually be ok with.

I can only count to 39 in Roman numerals. Anything past that I need a reference. So I'm okay with this. 50 = L. So 40 is XL (10 before 50). C is 100 so counting to 100 is fairly easy.

Thought it was interesting - "This Week" on the Network featured a report on WrestleMania 32 and it was referred to as "WrestleMania 2016".
