WFWF International Championship (Re)Match
Joe Bishop © vs. Dave Demento
There’s a long history developing between these two men and it hasn’t been pretty since day one. The problems between Joe Bishop and Dave Demento initially developed solely because of the International Champion, Demento toppling Bishop for the gold before things got personal. Bishop, as part of the Final Revolution, and Demento, representing the Saviours of Salvation, began to wage war not only over the International Championship but also over the fate of the WFWF. If you think that’s enough then you’re mistaken, because at The Clash Joe Bishop overcame Dave Demento in a falls count anywhere match to win back the International Championship. Now, after turning his back on Trace Demon last week and viciously attacking his Final Revolution allies Joe Bishop enters Seattle alone but, with his fellow Saviours either competing or injured, so does Demento. This one comes down to very simply becoming the International Champion and ending this feud once and for all. But if that wasn’t enough to weigh on their minds there’s one more ominous figure waiting in the wings, because rest assure that Trace Demon doesn’t intend on just watching this show from the comfort of his own home.
Big Trouble in Little Seattle Special and Closing the Show (if you can believe it…..)
Drakz vs. DMK
It’s safe to say none of us expected to see DMK ever step into a wrestling ring competitively. It’s also safe to say none of us expected to see him facing Drakz. To be honest we’re a little embarrassed to even televise this match. To say this will be one sided is perhaps not doing the situation justice. Maybe if we spell it out to you. Current WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, Superstar of the Year 2014, two time Hall of Famer and Grand Slam winner Drakz, yes the man who is 11 years deep into his career and arguably at the top of his game, will be taking on a man who stands 4’1”, has never had a professional fight (although we are assured by a press release from KKK.com he has killed hundreds of men in cold blood), is some what hot tempered and also claims to be Superstar of the Year 2014 (he has the trophy to prove it). What more can we say. To anyone who watches this, you’ve just helped lower the bar.
WFWF Tag Team Championship (Re)Match
Kokaine Konspiracy (Tugarin Zmey & Samael Ahriman) © vs. Hollywood Unhinged (Chase Landon & Jayson Garrett)
When DMK promises he’s going to do something he does it. When he promised he had an unstoppable monster he had exactly that, bringing in Tugarin Zmey who still has yet to be pinned or defeated inside the ring. When he promised a shocking second member of the Kokaine Konspiracy he had exactly that, introducing the WFWF’s own Samael Ahriman. When he promised that they would become the WFWF Tag Team Champions they did exactly that, besting Chase Landon and Jayson Garrett at The Clash to become the champions. However Holly Unhinged aren’t done just yet, the highly dysfunctional tag team cashing in their rematch against the seemingly unstoppable KKK in Seattle. However this time round there’s a very big difference, because this time round DMK has a match of his own to focus on, because with Drakz looming in the main event there’s no knowing what mind-set the already unstable midget will be in. The KKK can only hope that this doesn’t lead to Hollywood Unhinged upsetting the odds and becoming the champions for a second time, or else DMK might have a whole lot to cry about by the time the night ends.
The Bloodening (Re)Match
Dex vs. Phillip Schneider
On a night where two title rematches are taking place it seemed appropriate to book another rematch, one that centres more around personal issues though. On October 2nd 2014 Phillip Schneider methodically hospitalised Dex, a man who was having a whirl wind of a year that culminated into an injury induced downward spiral. Whilst Dex has been off Schneider has only faced one other opponent, and while he may have lost the match, he went on to hospitalise yet another member of the WFWF roster in Penny Shannon. This match is Dex’s opportunity at retribution and whilst he’s had no warning perhaps the element of surprise will work in his favour when he goes toe to toe with The Prophet of Ash for a second time. There is also the chance that Schneider may see he failed the first time and go postal, killing not just Dex, but the entire ring side staff and the first 4 rows of fans.
Rising Stars Collide
Daniel Kirkbride vs. Joshua Dean
Daniel Kirkbride hasn’t lost any steam since receiving his first loss to Joe Bishop. In fact if anything that loss has fuelled Kirkbride to take his career to a far greater height than any before. First off he won the Golden Opportunity match at The Clash, now holding a contract to place himself in any match at any time before the next pay per view. Then at Homecoming he beat both Joe Bishop and Tugarin Zmey in a triple threat match. Kirkbride has never been hotter, but now he’s faced with a man who has also taken his game up a notch. Josh Dean overcame Yukio Blaze in a vicious death match at The Clash and then was victorious in tag team action last week alongside Dave Demento. With the face of the WFWF seemingly on the change there is nothing more important than momentum, which means neither of these men can afford to lose. Unfortunately one of them won’t have much choice.
National Title Match
Ante Whitner © vs. Devilkiller
At The Clash Ante Whitner defended his National Title against Shapiro however his victory was soured when Devilkiller made a surprise return and beat him down to the mat, announcing he was back for the title that made a name for him in this business. Last week in Portland Devilkiller earned his right to that title shot by defeating Axel Thornstowe. Unfortunately for Devilkiller his victory was eclipsed by the huge upset of Whitner defeating current WFWF Tag Team Champion Samael Ahriman. Now we go into a title match with bad blood as well as the want to be the man everyone is talking about. A win here will see either man taking the next step up the card, wether it’s Devilkiller as new National Champion or Whitner well on his way to breaking his opponent’s 182 day National Championship record setting reign. Sparks will fly.
Mano O Mano
Axel Thornstowe vs. Stan McMann
Axel Thornstowe’s not had much luck recently and his win/loss record reflects that, however a fire seemed to light under him at Homecoming and he declared a new day in the times of Thornstowe. He went on to goad Shapiro, another wrestler who’s been stuck in a rut recently, in a way that cemented his position as WFWF’s resident nutter. Thornstowe looks to set those wheels in motion this week by facing new comer Stan McMan, a real man’s man, and a manly one at that. We’ve seen what this guy can do when he’s out in the wilderness but only Axel will find out if he can hang in the squared circle.
The Show Opening National Title Eliminator
Diamond Jack Sabbath vs. Shapiro vs. Axle Aomori
The National Championship picture is only getting hotter. With competitor after competitor trying to make their name known in the WFWF every newcomer is gunning for the National Championship and these three are no different. Shapiro is coming off of a loss to Trace Demon last week, but one in which he put up a valiant effort. Diamond Jack Sabbath had a much different Homecoming, shocking everyone as he bested former World Champion Dex in strong fashion. The third man though is a newcomer to the WFWF, but one who knows Sabbath from over in the XWA, Axle Aomori. All three of these men have plenty to prove and with a potential championship match in the future for the winner of this one you just know they’re going to go all out to win. This one could be the dark horse to steal the show.
