Until they make Benoit my ruthless aggression era collection won't fell complete Hate to break it to you but there is a better chance of getting an elite Gobbledy Gooker with 9 ladders and a set of anal beads than a Chris Benoit figure. Just sayin.

A legends/Flashback with build a figure set every 3 months would be ideal to get more out with 9 heavy hitters to anchor the sets Hogan, Flair, Nash, Hall, Savage, Warrior, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Bret Hart.

They will never be done in my eyes.
My biggest wants though are that Magnum TA they showed and everyone who held the WWE title.

as far as first time in the line iconic talent go dont see this year getting beat. i mean this year debuted hogan, sting, razor, apa farooq, earthquake, doink, technically x-pac, and maybe more as not everything is revealed yet(still got e36 & 37 plus the 4th dm figure). and unless a future year debuts goldberg, angle, jeff hardy, steiners, anvil neidhart, and sid all the same year nothing is going to come close.

Yea we have gotten some big names but theres still LOADS Mattel need to get to. This line is on route to becoming the best wrestling figure line in history if they get us some of the rarities in the WWE Alumini.

What about a Wrestlemania Elite series where they start at Mania 1 and do 4 figures and then the next wave would be Mania 2 and that would have 4 figures from Mania 2 and so on for each mania.
1st wave could include Mr T, Piper, Hogan and Muhammad Ali in ref outfit

As far as the "best of the best", Mattel pretty much has them covered. There are only a few "big" names left (Angle, Jeff Hardy, Sid, Owen), but there are plenty of guys that I sure hope Mattel gets to make. I would love to have a complete collection of every WWE World champion ever. So, in order to do that, we need guys like Buddy Rogers. Everyone thinks he would be a long shot to get made, but I just have this feeling Mattel will get to him some day.
There are thousands of mid-card guys that Mattel could make. Brutus Beefcake, Greg Valentine, Jim Neidhart, Tito Santana, Koko B Ware just to name a few.
But, I guess I would say the apex has been reached. I don't think any year will be better than 2014-2015 in the Mattel run. Tough to top Hogan, Flair, Razor, and Sting all in the same year.

As for big name talent, mattel pretty much has them all made except for these names.
-sid -goldberg -kurt angle -jeff hardy -owen hart
But, there are hundreds of mid-cards that will be more than welcomed in my collection. Just to name some.
-brutus beefcake -jim neidhart -koko b ware -big john studd -gangrel -al snow -hardcore holly -verne gagne -sabu -raven -konnan -scott steiner -rick steiner -knobs -saggs -adam bomb -virgil -freebirds -fritz von erich -dino bravo -jimmy hart -cpt. Lou albano -bobby heenan -afa -sika -torri wilson -stacy keibler -jeff jarrett -chyna -jesse ventura -gorilla monsoon -eric bishoff -bubba ray dudley -dvon dudley -spike dudley -buff bagwell -perry saturn -magnum ta -greg valentine -warlord -barbarian -mr. Fuji -rock n roll express -great muta -billy kidman -dlo brown -irs -haku -ronnie garvin -gene okerlund -ken patera -gorgeous george -buddy rogers -ahmad johnson -ken shamrock -mr. T -mike tyson -superstar billy graham -chief jay strongbow -rocky johnson -b brian blair -jim brunzell -jim cornette -test -tazz -ryhno -tajiri -jerry lynn -ludvig borga -bart gunn
Not to mention there are thousands of repaint options of superstars we already have. So, yes i do think we have reached the apex of big names, there are still many possibilities.

For me personally most of mine are all attires i want rather than people they are yet to make a figure of although there are a few id like:
- Raven - ECW or wwe debut - Dudley's - Too Cool - Tajiri
Rest are attire choices:
- ABA taker w/ long hair & denim - 97-98 taker - 2002 Kane with goatee (actual head not the RSC removable mask - RVD with a better attire - Hardy's - Rock - although all I really need is the Walgreen head on an e22 body. - HHH - a better 2001-2003 version - HBK - 2004-2010

They may be knocking out the big name singles wrestlers, but they're lacking in the tag team and manager figures. There's a lot of well known mid carders to make too, and personally I'll be me more excited to get figures of some of them than Hogan, Flair, or Sting.

Apart from various attire choices (ie. NWO Hogan, Surfer Sting, 123 Kid, '92 Bulldog etc), I think my only "must have" wants are: Goldberg, Sid, Bobby Heenan, Kurt Angle. I would say Owen too, but that's not looking likely. There are PLENTY of other guys I would like too (eg. Brutus Beefcake, Tatanka, Backlund, Steiners etc.)... but if they're not made, my collection can live without them...

I'm good on main event talent in all eras except for WCW. For WCW I have Rey, nWo Savage, Vader, and DDP. I have WWF guys who were in WCW and vice versa, but as far as dudes from when they were in WCW, those three. Obviously, ECW has no figures to come out from that era. But WWF/WWE is really solid. I just need some more tag teams and mid carders for all retro eras.
