Big John Studd is one of the biggest holes in my roster and opinion. Always underrated in my mind. Goldberg, The Dudleys, Flashback Hardys. Pat Paterson is a big want, and Bob Backlund is a must eventually. My Grail would be the Hollywood Blondes, along with Buddy Rogers

I tried to make a similar point in a thread a month or so and it pretty much morphed into the same thread as this one ... few agreed and then came everybody's want lists, lol. (It's all good, though! ) I agree with the original poster ... there are tons of guys I also still want (how come there hasn't been any love for Tatanka?), but after the past year or so I feel we've got all of the big names out of the way. If the line were to end tomorrow, it wouldn't feel "incomplete" to me after 2014's additions. Mark

Not much left to do that needs to be done Psycho Sid Brutus Beefcake Anvil Steiners Heenan and hart Hall Hollywood Goldberg Then there's a lot of wants Warlord Gonzalez Barbarian Hercules Dino bravo Tugboat/Typhoon Add tatanka, evil/kona crush, 123 kid and I would be pretty happy. But lots of repaints for me needed, like warrior and savage. Then some more NWO guys and a few Wcw guys... And I would be as happy as a pig in crap.

I'm one of those people who will buy pretty much any figure that depicts a wrestler pre-1998, so no, we've got a long way to go, baby.

I feel like there are still lots of legends/flashbacks to be made I agree, and welcome to the boards. Watch your post count or everyone will think you're Dolph Sniffler, Piercetheveil, or some other scammer. Thanks and I don't know who those people are

Goldberg (WCW Champion) Dusty Rhodes (non polka dot, NWA Champion) Ivan Koloff (WWWF Champion, NWA Tag Champion) Nikita Koloff (main evented StarrCade, US Champion, NWA Tag Champion) Tito Santana (I-C Champion, WWF Tag champion) Rick Martel (Strike Force version, WWF Tag champion) Don Muraco (I-C Champion) Greg Valentine (I-C Champion, WWF Tag champion) Haku (WWF Tag champion) Mike Rotundo/IRS (WWF Tag Champion x5, NWA TV Champion) Nasty Boys (WWF Tag Champions, WCW Tag Champions) Steiner Brothers (WWF Tag Champions, WCW Tag Champions) Jesse Ventura (film star, mayor, governor) Superstar Graham (WWWF Champion) - might not be possible due to his relationship with Vince Brian Pillman (Bengal tights version, WCW Light Heavyweight Champion, WCW Tag Team Champion) Kona Crush (it's gonna happen) Hart Foundation (WWF Tag Champions) Big John Studd (principal member of Heenan family and chief rival to Hogan and Andre) Psycho Sid (WWF Champion, WCW Champion) Brutus Beefcake (WWF Tag Champion, one of top babyfaces of the late 80's) Harley Race (NWA World Champ, WWF King of the Ring) British Bulldogs (WWF Tag Champions) Bad News Brown (its gonna happen) 1-2-3 Kid (staple of the New Generation) Ron Simmons (WCW Champion, WWF Tag Champion) Barry Windham (NWA Champion, NWA Tag Champion, WWF Tag Champion, principal Horseman) Plus there's still a ton more potential for Rick Rude, Sting, Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka, Ted DiBiase, Lex Luger. I omitted Pedro Morales because he was overlooked in his own era, let alone in 2015. I don't see Patterson getting made either due to all the scandal surrounding his life and career. Add the Dudleys, Angle and Magnum TA and a near perfect list.

In terms of big names and surprises no it will be very hard to top 2014 and 15. Hogan, Razor, Sting, Flair getting figures. Surpises like Luger, JYD, Doink, Xpac, Outlaws, red LOD, Rikishi. Return of DM line and Target HOF line introduction. Good times right now.

Now that we have Hogan, Warrior, Savage and Sting (the first official Sting figure not released yet) I'm guessing the next five years will be filled with their various looks and combinations of them as there are probably at least four Stings they could easily make without even getting to his current look. And yes, I suspect we will see a HHH/Sting Battle Pack next year based on what should happen at Wrestlemania. So if the OP intended to say that the next five years or so we can simply expect more of the same then that is what we are in for here. I'm happy for the classic collectors because it brings out figures never thought possible before finally coming together, but I only collect current wrestlers unless I either really like them or they just don't have a current figure. I have a "classic" version of The Rock but he's still my favorite look and I'd rather have him with a guitar than a goatee. Otherwise it's just Vader (who could still be somewhat modern) and Brian Pillman. I haven't decided what to do about Macho Man yet, though I really want to Walmart t-shirt figure but time will tell what I choose with him there. Sting I'd like to get a modern look for and then the same with Hogan, so basically I'm not buying any of these classic ones. I might have to buy a classic Warrior at some point but I still think a modern version of him, even from his final appearance on Raw, would sell.

I mean apex in that we've reached the highest point it can go with collective fan enthusiasm. I'm very excited for Earthquake, and I.R.S. that we were told is coning too. but it's not on the level of OMFG!!! HOGAN!!!! FLAIR!!!! STING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! guess I'm trying to ask, have we reached the apex of figure announcements that blow everyone out of the water? that make you overly excited and crying with joy? no doubt we will get plenty of great figures over the next few years ( and beyond that,if they resign with Mattel again), but for me,I think it's gonna be real hard to top the announcements of the Legends we've gotten in 2014 and coming in 2015. there's a few that would come close ( Goldberg, Owen, Angle ) for me, but I feel like the pro wrestling "Mount Rushmore" of figure collecting has been reached, and everything coming after this point are just cherries on top of the proverbial WWE banana split that's already been made.

Theres TONS more to do!
Most of the A++++ list is signed (Hogan,Flair,Sting,Savage, etc) but we still gots lots of MAJOR players to go.
Studd Sid Hercules Beefcake Qauke Angle Neidhart Goldberg Owen
Tag Teams: Powers of Pain, British Bulldogs, Steniers, Harlem Heat, Killer Bees, Rougeau Bros, Midnight/R&R Express's, etc, etc. Heck they could do two years worth of tag team guys alone.
Managers: Heenan,Hart,Fuji,Bearer,Sherri,Slick
Ultimate Maniacs - 2-pack
there are a couple dream 3 packs I'd LOVE to see:
Mega-Powers (Hulk, Savage, Liz) The Machines (Super,Big,Giant) with all the newer masked wrestlers these days, these could sell pretty well.
then you got other NWO, WCW, ECW guys.
LOTS of other mid card guys that were pretty big Like Giant Gonzales (this would be cool looking figure) Koko B Ware, OMG, Bad News Brown, Adam Bomb, Hakushi.
One off Stars like Zues, Mr. T, Tyson!
and we still need repaints and other looks for figs already made. Like Crush (Kona/Evil) & Luger (Narccisst/NWO/WCW).
PLENTY PLENTY to do yet!

Goldberg, Angle, Hardy would be the last of the bigger names...im sure Goldberg is coming soon..so until the other 2 sign again , Goldberg is the only BIG name left to make . and i bet we see him 2015 or 2016.

Raven, Scott Steiner and Bobby Heenan are my big 3. But yeah, I kind of think by the end of this year my focus is going to be mostly about getting various attires from Legends we already have or updated versions of current roster talent or guys coming out of NXT. That's not to say there isn't a ton of stuff I still want like IRS, Sid, Anvil, Windham, Angle, Dudleyz, Hardyz, Lita, Kidman, Buff Bagwell, and on-and-on I could go, but I think I'm personally getting to the point where the major holes are mostly filled. Sting and Razor are huge additions for me this year, so yeah.
I personally like that we are kind of getting into more of the midcard stuff. Even if they come out slowly, while still giving us variations of big stars, we are going to have an extremely developed collection of figures at the end of the day. I don't think Mattel is going anywhere, and I think that means we have so much more greatness to go. Adding Sting, Hogan, Razor, Quake, Doink, APA, and who knows what else all in the same year though, pretty boss. It's hard to say if it will be the best year ever though because we could see even better variations of the aforementioned guys. So if we get Outsiders Hall, Starrcade 97 Hogan, and GAB 90 Sting next year, then what? Equally as awesome imo.
