That is incredible! I wish I had the skills to attempt something like this.

Just out of curiosity, how would these fit on the regular spring rings?

Well I can grauntee the ropes won't pull up my corners, hehe. I'm going to be ordering some soon so I can change out my ropes for pay per views. What did you use to join the wood? Wood glue? Nails? Thanks! Any info will be of great help. This summer I am going to attempt to make a 100% in scale CZW ring. Mine will be metal but I am going to have a wood platform under the canvas like a real ring and the stuff I am buying from michaels isn't long enough so I will have to join 2 pieces.

They should back a bottom cross brace like a real ring. That could be a good use for the old (too big) ropes. Just put them in an X post to post.

It almost looks like they were a little mad at all the complaints about them and made a smart ass common sense video tutorial. Just from the video though it looks like they would cause the posts to cave in. Glad I don't have one.

Just from the video though it looks like they would cause the posts to cave in. Glad I don't have one. We have multiple ASR's that are perfectly fine with the ropes. You might have an issue with an older ring that's not the Authentic Scale Ring as these ropes are specifically sized for the ASR.

Has anybody figured out what makes the ASR so different that the ESR wouldn't be able to use the ropes?

It was weird. I ordered 4 sets of ropes and only the red caused my posts to start to bend. The others work perfectly fine. They're 1000 times better than what came w/ the ring originally. Hopefully they decide to come out w/ other add ons for the ring.

I received a set of RSC white ropes today and put them on my sons ESR.
They do raise one of the corners of the ring as they are tight, but they are not bending the ring posts. It is just the ring itself, as it is made up of 2 interlocking halves, that is causing it to raise.
We have 2 sets of ringsteps, which hides the fact one corner is raised, and the playability of the ring is not affected.
My son loves the tighter ropes, and although they probably fit the ASR better as they were specifically designed for that ring, they are better on the ESR than loose ropes, in our opinion.
Money well spent.
