Pretty cool that they go well with hasbros. Likenesses leave a lot to be desired tho. ECW was really OSFTM's best work.

Weird. I have that Flair figure in our XMas decor. He goes on the tree. Had NO clue where he came from or what series/company he was from. Crazy. I always thought it was a bootleg or something.

It feels like these figures sat in my local KB Toys until those stores closed in 2009.

Pretty cool that they go well with hasbros. Likenesses leave a lot to be desired tho. ECW was really OSFTM's best work. Eh, most of the ECW figures didnt look like the wrestlers either. A handful did, Douglas being one of the best, but some of the others looked pretty bad. The larger rubber LJN knockoffs they did for WCW are probably the best looks wise IMO

I just found a Lex Luger yesterday at an indoor flea market. Unfortunately I had to leave him because he had no price label and would have just been tossed in a vendor unknown box if I had moved him from where he was. Cool figures. I remember Rick Steiner sat FOREVER at my local K-Mart. I wanted it, but not bad enough to pass on something else, because I was already on to 6 inch figures. I remember seeing it as low as $1, but they were also doing Septic Sludge for $1 or $0.75 at the time, and those were much cooler to have

Very underrated figures actually. At the time, they were around the most poseable figures thanks to the ball joint shoulders. It's a shame they would often have awkward hand positions.

Like I said, I overlooked these figures as well for the same reasons you guys mentioned. But damn if they don't go relatively well with the Hasbros. Haha. The joints in the arms though were a nice touch and the fact that their legs moved too made these guys even more poseable than the Hasbros.

I collect these and at the time I collected the majority, I did not own any Hasbros. I never thought to compare the scales of the two and it is surprising that someone has not come to this conclusion earlier. It would enable a collector of loose ones to add to the roster in quick order. I still have plenty of extras.

So were these the only OSFTM WCW figures that had articulation?

Arrrrgh! I can't stop thinking about these!! Can someone tell me how many there were? If you will look at the second stickied thread at the top of the page of this section of the Forum, I posted them on page 3 in 2010. There are 11 that came without stickers and as far as I can tell, 9 that came with stickers (same figures). At least in almost 10 years of searching, I have never found the other two MOC with stickers. Likely it was due to the wrestlers either changing companies or debuting later. There were 10 that were packaged in two packs and 2 four packs plus ones that were packaged with rings (again, all the same figures).

Thinking of getting the 4 pack with the ring & cage, but hesitant about pulling the trigger. Really want that Hollywood Hogan and Macho Man though.

When answering above, I assumed that you meant the 4.5" ones. There were 6" figures versions also as well as the infamous vibrating ones with minimal articulation in basically the same forms as mentioned above.

Here's a question for you more knowledgeable types:
Keeping in mind that these were released 17-18/however many years ago, my feeble old brain seems to recall a Scott Steiner released in this scale, that had LONG BLONDE hair, which was tied back in a pony tail (which is bizarre, because in actuality, Scott had cut his hair short before he started having it bleached).
I seem to remember it coming in a 2-pack with Hollywood, hanging on the pegs at a KB Toy Store (man, I miss KB Toys).
To quote CRD: your thoughts?
EDIT: Thinking about it about further, the Steiner MAY have also been wearing sunglasses. Again, there's a chance that I had just dreamed this entire thing up.
