I'd like it better without the painted texture on his skin but a hot statue nonetheless.

Any idea if these ship internationally? Tried my best to find info on the website, but Chrome's translation only does so much.

Looks good, though I wish they would just make regular action figures again.

Ill be honest I havent watched any japanese wrestling in a couple years other than highlights or a specific search for someone. Ive always heard how popular wrestling is over there but not once has a figure line been made that would be in a style that would fit in with what we are used to getting here in the USA.
Is the culture so different that kids dont really play with action figures in japan like kids do here in the US?
I loved the charopro line and had almost a full set, but even then I still had wished they were bigger and more articulated to fit in with jakks or mattel.

Is the culture so different that kids dont really play with action figures in japan like kids do here in the US? that, and pro wrestling is not aimed to kids at all. They never moved down from the 16-35 males. Osaka Pro does well on masks and novelties, but they've never bothered with action figures. Best I've gathered is kids read a lot more in Japan. Younger kids have toy trucks and stuff, but once kids get to reading age it's mostly video games, books, and musical instruments. You gotta remember school kids have a lot less downtime than western kids do, too, in addition to much harder school work that does require more study time.

A kid could have potentially played with every type of figure released(HAO, Inspire, Charapro, Popy, etc) with the exception of those headliner type things and the cell phone strap figures. I suppose you could but they are stuck in one position. So this idea that a bunch of articulation is needed for someone to play with a toy always sounds absurd to me.

I think it looks fantastic. Would love an unpainted version as well.
Now let's see Tanahashi!

I had Power Ranger figures, Pokemon figures, and BCAs back when I was a kid. All of which had little-no articulation. Loved them.

Agreed, but when given the choice of articulation or no articulation, which do they choose? I don't know the answer. I'm a grown man that does not play with toys.

I wish there were a company that would take the Jakks/Mattel route and produce (playable/posable) figures spanning all of Japan's famous characters (a Japanese Legends Line).
