Anyway Bryan eliminated in the old fashion midcarder style, like he was a Swagger or a Big E. Classical elimination of a face that is struck suddenly by the heel. I think they tried to do it to make the crowd "forget" about him later on and make them cheer for Reigns.
I admit I laughed for five seconds after his victory and then changed the expression and saying "what the hell is it?". That classic sensation you feel when you know that something will happen (at the final four was clear, there were no more doubts after Ambrose eliminated) but really hope until the end, and when it happens you remain in disbelief.
I am rather surprised (or maybe not) as Batista's victory last year did not teach them anything, two years in a row with a winner practically covered with boos, and the beauty is that it should be the face most acclaimed in their plans (!!!). In short, if err is human, to persevere is diabolical. And they're kidding too much with a little game that they're not understanding is so dangerous for them. But even for the same Reigns, they're really risking a lot with his future.

Will Bubba Ray stick around? I think he's got some mileage left, and I'd love to see a full blown Heel Bully Ray vs Cena. The Bubba Ray name is a vibe killer. Bully Ray fits so much better. Plus could u imagine the promoe, BASTAR? Nah Be a BULLY!.
I don't think wwe has enough faith in him to do it but he could pull it off

I like Reigns, that's why one of the most annoying parts of this is how they could've easily just ed reigns up by pushing him into a spot he doesn't belong in. Same as last year the crowd wanted Bryan, Bryan should've won it. It's likely now Reigns will get the Batista treatment in build to WM except now they can't exactly just turn him heel. Plus, Reigns vs Brock is just going to be awful.

I feel the same way......I really like RR and wish him all the best-but I fear they may have damaged him badly here.
Also was Ambrose permitted even one elimination?

A few thoughts while watching the PPV: -Brass Ring Club & Cesaro's crowd reaction...pretty awesome! -The Ascension's black make-up looked stupid, not very impressive and honestly pretty bad match to open a PPV. -I like Paige and all, but her constantly screaming ruined the match for me, which is sad because it started pretty well. -Tag Titles Match was good, but dragged on a bit. I hope we get some new Challengers soon in MotU. -The Triple Threat...HOLY CRAP! Made Brock look like a real beast after nearly being stretchered out to winning. The two things I hated were the 200 AA's Cena tried to deliver, and Rollins being pinned. At least he looked kinda good because he stood at the end and Cena was no where to be found. -Also THAT ING CORKSCREW MOONSAULT! -Then there was the Rumble... what a cluster of a match. I have no problem with Bray having a strong showing, but these scenarios always seem to dragg on... Nice little confrontation between the Wyatt family, The Bubba Ray-R Truth stuff was pretty cool too, Kofi's spot was lame this year, and Barrett being eliminated before Swagger and Big E makes me sad. -Which brings me to my next point: Hoe stupid are they to have Big E AND Kofi come out after their hurrendous crowd reaction from earlier? KOfi's fine because he's somehow exciting to watch, but Big E? ...whatever -Reigns winning was pretty obvious, and it seemed like they had the Rock as a backup plan if the crowd booed Reigns out of the building, didn't work out that well, didn't it? Bryan being eliminated so early in the match was probably to make the fans forget about him and cheer for Reigns in the end. Concluding: ... what was I sayin' again? Didn't work out, didn't it?

It would have been great if Roman hit Big Show with the Superman Punch and eliminated him, but eliminated himself at the same time. He would have still looked strong, and it would have possibly left room for Ziggler or Ambrose to win.

Watched the rumble match again it had the worst rumble match I've seen only thing that was worth a damn imo was bubba ray and seeing DDP laying people out with the diamond cutter especially the one from the top on fandango

I'd like to talk for a second about Ziggler: what he did so wrong to make them have him a 5 minute appereance? It seemed they pushed him around Survivor Series and he looked really strong and then... this Rumble?
What the f*ck is wrong with them?
I'm not even talking about the winner, winning or losing, blablabla, i'm talking about the booking for him, or even guys like Ambrose and Bryan. Bryan eliminated like a normal midcarder, same for Ziggler. I still don't understand.
Plus, they wanted to punish him because he went against the Authority... and he enters as number 30? Seems a little bit illogical, but whatever.

Just watched this morning, they REALLY don't know their own audience do they? lol. Can't believe they did it again!
Thought it was great seeing the Outlaws, Bubba & DDP, a nice little nostalgia boost, felt 7 years old again.
The triple threat was pretty fantastic!
But after Bryan's elimination I was pretty much like 'eh'. Cannot believe they didn't learn their lesson from last year. After that I was counting on The Rock being an actual entrant and saving the mess but nope. And once Ziggler was put out there went any care I had for the winner.
I wasn't even pissed off in any way though, I was just like "eh... whatever. I had fun in places".
Was nice to see The Rock but too little too late, even he couldn't save the show.

Roman winning was 100%, categorically the right decision. There was no other logical choice. This entire thing with Brock has been brewing to create a new star, BRYAN IS ALREADY A STAR. He did NOT need this. Going over Brock will do absolutely nothing for him in the long run. He just went over 3 of the industries biggest stars of all time in the period from Summerslam 2013 to Wrestlemania 30.
The rumble itself could have been booked better, there weren't enough big stars in it. And they really squandered some moments that could have been great (like the Dudleys vs The Wyatts and Mizdow throwing himself out after Miz is eliminated). The main problem was that there were too many quick eliminations, which was a direct result of having way too many Tyson Kidd/Titus ONiell/Zack Ryder jobbers in it. It could have really benefitted from having Orton and Sheamus enter and be there at the end to at least shed a little doubt on the end result (F4 could have been Roman-Bryan-Orton-Sheamus).
Regardless, I'm pleased with the end result and we are in for a cracker at Wrestlemania.
It also suffered from being way too Wyatt/Rusev heavy, who are both in my estimations among the worst that the company has to offer right now.
Weirdly enough, I've never, ever called myself a Bubba Ray Dudley fan (quite the opposite really), but seeing him back was actually awesome. Loved his pop, and I hope he sticks around for a while.

If Ambrose is heel he needs to be violent and malicious. No cowardly crap. He needs to be downright psychotic and look like he's trying to kill his opponent. Unfortunately, just about every heel is the generic cowardly bad guy these days. Even when Punk turned heel in 2012 they made him turn into a weasel who would try to back out of matches and not fight unless he had to. It really bugged the hell out of me for a while until they started to let him do more during his feud with The Rock. Yeah, I hate how they don't book the heels like heroic babyfaces. Arrive Bitch Bitch some more Bitch a little more Bitch, bitch, bitch Still watch Raw Still watch Mania Bitch more Never Leave You should start selling this on a t-shirt on Cafepress or one of those sites. It'd definitely have to be in a smaller font than Lesnar's one though.

Watching the pre-show match, loving the Brass Ring Club shirts and 'Hollywood' Adam Rose.
Holy crap, the crowd were really hating on New Day

It's mind blowing that anyone can honestly say anything positive about this show outside of the title match.

im glad all this crap is going down
everyone always says to the people "bitching" if you dont like it? DO something! "vince is laughing all the way to the bank!" "you still paid for a ticket!"
then when the fans who are pissed start cancelling the network, those same people are like "omg you're so stupid! it's a show! just like it! you're favorite didn't win so what!"

Really enjoyed the show, but the Royal Rumble match itself was not good at all. I just hated how they tossed Bray, Ziggler, and Ambrose over. Show and Kane don't need to look stronger and it was pointless to just have three of the biggest stars being picked up and rag dolled over the top rope. Awful choice.
