So, as of right now, there are a few rumors going around that Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt will occur at Wrestlemania 31.
However, there is a bit of a dilemma. Having Taker lose to someone as legitimate as Brock Lesnar is one thing, however, loosing to someone who could still be considered an up-n-comer who is very early in their WWE career could tarnish Takers legacy.
At the same time, Wyatt is just breaking through and could use the rub. He lost to Cena at Wrestlemania 30, losing to Taker at Wrestlemania 31 could do irreparable damage.
Now if i was in control, I would do the following to benefit both men.
First he match would be a good length, lets say 25 minutes. In this match, Bray is booked strong, Taker is able to mount some offence occasionally, but he is clearly on the back foot. After a number of near falls and a few false finishes, Taker starts to get the upper had around 15 minute mark. Around minute 20, I'd have this key spot occur. Taker goes for a corner clothesline, he lands it, but takes the ref out as well. With Bray groggy seated in the corner and taker in the middle of the ring, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are at the bottom of the ramp (this would be the first time they appear together as allies since they were set free). They make their way to the apron and Taker is standing his ground in the middle of the ring. Before Harper and Rowan make it into the ring they hear Wyatt shouting at them, on camera wyatt can be seen and heard shout something along the lines of 'Leave, do not enter this ring, i will not have this tainted, my victory must be pure'. With this Harper and Rowan jump down and make their way back up the ramp. Taker is just standing in the ring sort of analysing the situation and Wyatt is now standing at the turnbuckles watching Harper and Rowan exit, he then grabs the ropes and does his signature back arch and spider walk towards Taker for the first time in the match. After a bit of back and fourth, Wyatt either goes for a flying crossbody and is caught for a Tombstone (if this is physically impossible for Taker to do, he could instead go for a Sister Abigail and is countered into a Hells Gate).
Match over, wins ans slowly crawls to the ropes and gets to his feet. As he turns around, Wyatt has sort of made it to his hands and knees. As Taker is about to walk past his, Wyatt does the 'follow the buzzards' pose with his arms out stretches. Taker steps back and responds with his kneeling salute, rises back to his feel and raises Wyatts hand while he is still kneeling.
To me, i'd take this as a symbol of Taker passing the torch to Wyatt as the new sort of 'dark' gimmick going forwards. It also leaves Taker in a strong position if he were to have another match and i feel it gives a good rub to Wyatt and credence is added to him by wanting to beat Taker without any help
Phew, that was more writing than i expected, but yea, a bit of fantasy booking never hurt anyone. Personally i'd like to see it go down like this. How would you book it if you were in charge?
If you want to turn Wyatt face that'd work, but Bray should stay heel.
