It looked very, very dry, and possibly died which made it look weird. He needed to tip a bottle of water over his hair before he went out. He better tuck his tights into his boots in the future. It did. It was very dry.

On November 23, 1985 Sting made his pro wrestling debut. Exactly 29 years later he makes his wwe debut. Thought I'd point out that cool fact. I'm looking forward to Raw tonight to see the follow up.

I'm now massively gutted that I saw these big rumours. Was great to see him arrive, but can't deny that in the back of my mind watching the whole Match I was waiting for him. Imagine if you didn't have a clue, would of been such a shock. While it does sound silly, he did need a bottle of water over his hair.

Can't believe I've now seen Sting in a WWE ring. What a moment. Shame it was so heavily rumoured though but still, awesome.

You guys are crazy talking about Stings hair lol. If he would of put water in it, he would look really really bald! There is a reason his hair is feathered out like that. Putting water on it would be the complete opposite of what wwe and sting would want. Still very disappointed that the surprise was ruined when other sites had it listed as a spoiler. However it's very cool that Sting finally came to wwe! Great night for Dolph Ziggler. I feel like it was stupid that Ryback was out so soon. If they gave him the Roman Reigns treatment his popularity would be off the charts.

I'd say ,for those of us watching through the 80s to the Monday Night Wars to the Invasion through now, we have officially seen it all now. Yeah he hasn't wrestled in WWE yet, but we saw Sting in a WWE ring ,involved with the main event in what is a pivotal storyline. So for all intents and purposes, we've seen the last great "what if" moment of our generation come to fruition.

Thank you for making me realize this very good point, now once wwe start ruining the sting debut, I can stop watching and not have any regrets

The dedicated the past 2 Raws pretty much to Ryback and then they don't even have him as the sole survivor or get some eliminations for his team, nothing

From the sounds of it this interference sounds like Austin at Backlash 2000 i.e. 'evening the odds' for the guy who deserves to win (but not unfairly tipping them in his favour), getting a huge pop but keeping focus on the guy in the ring, and not detracting from that guy's win in any way. Basically, incredibly well-booked interference.

Here, allow me to fix your response for you. Um, considering WWE is the main franchise of professional wrestling, i'm pretty sure his original response was correct.. Says you. If you're gonna talk about pro wrestling history and only mention WWE events, then just say WWE history. Be fair to the others too. List of Pro Wrestling promotions Worldwide

List of Pro Wrestling promotions WorldwideEven if there are other promotions, Sting showing up in WWE is, along with The Undertaker's streak being broken, two of the biggest things to ever happen in any promotion. Especially since the WWE is the biggest of all time, that makes it an EVEN bigger moment.
