One QC/production issue I've noticed more of lately is the heads being really wobbly -- actually, tons of loose/wobbly parts. Heads, waists, arms, ab cuts on elites. But with the heads specifically, is there a simple fix for it?

i have a fix i used on many figures and it worked pretty good. a trick that will make your joints stiff. what i used is a extremely tiny rubberband, and i put it over the joint, flip a couple of rounds, and stick it in. i used to have braces in the past, and they give you this pack of really small rubberbands that put pressure on your jaws to get the closer to each other.. so my teeth are fine now and im left with those bands..
i just put them over a fig joints, stretch it to about 3 times and it stays strong.. its not visible since it gets pushed inside the head by the pressure.. that's why regular rubberbands wont work because theyre too big and youll need about 29 rounds to be ran out of stretchy space

I have a fairly simple method for fixing this. As the problem is usually with the head peg connected to the body being loose, I take off the head using hot water, then stuff something into the little hole for the peg, and put it all around the peg, it's a quick easy fix.

It takes a little bit of doing but if you have a hot glue gun, you could put a little hot glue in the head, stick like the end of a paintbrush in there so it applies to the sides and then pop it back on the peg.

I've always had success using plain old super glue. Just a drop or two, let it sit for just a minute and then pop the head on and move it as much as possible until it gets harder to move.

It's Mattel's way of telling you that D-Lo Brown is coming.

If you don't want to remove the head, a few drops of pledge floor cleaner with future (in the clear bottle) into where the ball joint is in the head should fix the issue. Move the head around to spread the pledge around the joint and keep the figure upside down for a few minutes to let it dry. The pledge forms a wax-type finish on plastic that doesn't wear down, and you may or may not need a second coat, but I swear by that stuff.

wont super glue make it unmovable? my big issue lately seems to be loose chest joints As long as you keep moving the joint you'll be fine. It's a great method.

I learned this one here. wont super glue make it unmovable? my big issue lately seems to be loose chest joints As long as you keep moving the joint you'll be fine. It's a great method. Yup. Takes 4-5 minutes depending on how much glue and what kind you use. Do NOT stop moving until it gets stiff. You will feel it start to get harder to move.

I've had a lot of problems myself with figures from E29 onwards:
E29 Rowan - super loose waist E29 Andre - loose waist E29 Harper - loose legs E30 Batista - Incredibly loose legs, also has the goofy e19 Brock wobble E30 Animal - loose waist (though not Rowan bad) E30 Hawk - huge black scuff on the back where the shoulder pads are E31 Vader - abdomen crunch was essentially broken out of the box. Never owned a figure with this loose of a crunch E31 Ambrose - when I took his dog tag off out of the box it ripled the flesh colored skin from around his neck off. Must have been placed on when the paint was still wet.
Rock, Punk, Goldust and the Usos are the only figures from those waves i didn't have a problem with. This is horrible

My E29 Goldust legs are all Fd up big time
E30 Batiata has loose legs. E30 Brock has loose torso,
E30 Lex legs feel like they are gonna fall off at any second never had a fig with a part this loose. And no signs of breakage.
E31 Vader came with mask broken in box and torso is loose as all hell
E31- Jimmy Uso foot is wobbly as hell
TShirt AJ leg is warped and cannot move sideways.
Yeah. QC has gone straight to hell

It's Mattel's way of telling you that D-Lo Brown is coming. I would literally not care about any of these QC problems if this was indeed the case !!!!!!!
