Never had a horrible wrestler experience, NFLers I have a few
Back in mid 90s, the Wwe held a show between Xmas and New Years in Cleveland
At a strip club in Akron, I was able to meet Jeff Jarrett, Taker, Mo from Men on a Mission and Bill Alfonso
Was able to get Double J and Taker to sign a New Years Eve party flyer for me Alfonso was completely crap faced, and Mo was down right hilarious, We were to sit with them till close and shoot the breeze.

Never had a bad experience with a wrestler. Some have been quiet but we're all adults and have our off days so I wouldn't hold it against them anyway. Most people don't realise this. Just because they blew you off once doesn't mean they're a bad person. You have to realise that they get approached multiple times a day and sometimes they might be simply fed up of it. On top of that, there's a time and a place. If you see someone at a restaurant, do not approach. Rule number one.
Guys like Brodus Clay though, wearing headphones on his head during an autograph signing - no excuse. I never go to autograph signings anymore cause I feel the security ruin the experience by rushing everything... and well, the wrestlers are kinda paid to be polite. I'd rather a wrestler was honestly rude with me than falsely polite. Especially in a situation like this.
If I had to pick one "bad" experience, I'd have to say MVP. One time I asked him for an autograph and I don't know if he was simply messing around being a heel or whatever but he gave me a mini lecture on not saying please. (I actually said please and I guess he didn't hear me, I dunno.) I took it as him simply playing a heel but I'd be lying if I said if I wasn't uncomfortable in those few minutes lol. I was only like 13 at the time too. Oh well. He signed for me anyway and was cool enough.

okay so I haven't read through all 5 pages in this thread, I'll admit - but for the first three pages, I'm surprised nobody mentioned that somebody should call Brodus Clay's mama and tell her about how obnoxious he is to kids.

I forgot to mention this story originally, but it was about 3 years ago when WWE Live came to town. I took my son and Chris Masters signed for him. When Masters had passed us, I noticed a commotion toward the other end of the sidewalk, so I took my son down there. Ziggler was signing (we were too late to grab an auto), but as he was signing a bunch of people were thanking him and wishing him luck that night. He actually said to the people: "Remember everyone, I AM a heel!" Always thought that was funny, and I really appreciated how Ziggy interacted with the fans.

Ziggs is awesome when it comes to interacting with fans. I've never been to an auto session, but I've been to two live events. The second one was after Ziggs turned face last year. One row behind me were two big Ziggler fans. They had on his shirt and a really cool Ziggler sign. Now, this is five rows back from the ring. But Ziggler threw Del Rio into the barricade, and went to our side of the ring, and gave them a shoutout. Later in the match, he had Del Rio slouched over the barricade, and went and gave a bunch of people high fives in the middle of the match. He's a class act. Only time I ever enjoyed a regular one-on-one Del Rio match, too.

I've only had two signing experiences, both when I was pretty young, so my memory's a bit hazy about them, but I know both were positive experiences. The first was with Nikita Koloff. My father mistakenly told me that it was Nikolai Volkoff, so I was pretty disappointed to find out it wasn't him (I had no idea who Nikita Koloff was at the time), but he turned out to be very nice, and it was a cool experience nonetheless. Oddly enough, just a little while later, Nikolai Volkoff did a signing at my father's workplace, which was an awesome experience; an indy fed was putting on a show at his car dealership, and while the rest of the crowd was watching the mediocre wrestling outside, we got to talk with him for upwards of an hour in the showroom and get some autographs. BTW, I was never even that big of a Nikolai Volkoff fan, so don't ask me how or why both of my signing stories revolve around him.

I'm sorry I didn't take the time to read all 5 pages but worst one I've ever heard was another Virgil story where a guy had a replica winged eagle belt was at a legends convention that had warrior, Hogan, savage, dibiase, slaughter, taker, Sid, and few others that actually held the winged eagle, the belt got to dibiase, and whaddya know, Virgil grabs the belt, signs his name real big on the front of the strap and hands it down the line like NOTHING happened, needless to say the guy was pissed, got all these legends who actually held the winged eagle belt and then Virgil ruins it all !!!

i'm happy that i never met Broadus Clay since he seems like lazy piece of $H!T. i only have 2 figures signed MOC (Dolph Ziggler and Hulk Hogan) but i prefer to get an 8x10 or a magazine cover signed and maybe a card.
I've met many wrestlers over the years and i never had a terrible experience but there were a few bad ones but first i'll name some wrestlers who are just awesome people; Mickie James(she is extremely nice), Trish Stratus, Paul London, Kevin Steen, Rick Martel, Bruno Sammartino, Roddy Piper (talks with everyone who he meets and makes you feel like an old friend) Gene Okerland, Chris Hero, The Young Bucks etc.
When i met Shelton Benjamin he looked like he wanted to be else were and same goes for Vader and Raven.

I met Bob Backlund at a house show and he gave me a 10 minute speech on positive energy. It was inspriring! I got to meet him the past September, and it was the same thing. He talked about the positive energy, and you're right, it's real inspiring. He was also very down to earth, asking where we were from, it was just like talking to a normal guy. Then when it was picture time, he became crazy Mr. Backlund, and then back to think positive Bob Backlund. I've had all good experiences, but he might be the best.
