The outsiders were probably my worst. Really? Whys that? I blame Snoop Dogg... Hey hey hey! Don't blame the homie Snoop. He's a wrasslein' fan too and I bet he wasn't a fan of Hoedus Clay either. Well him and the homie snoop are close irl as brodus was his body guard and his first name is dedicated to snoop (I guess snoops real middle name is similar to Brodus) So I wouldn't say he isn't a fan

I dont have any figs signed mainly cause i collect loose, except for Bret, his and Gangrels are the only must haves for me. I do have a copy of ECW hardcore revolution signed by Jerry Lynn. He came in for a show i was on, did a seminar with him and all. Very cool guy, signed my game and we talked a bit after the show. Normally i dont ask for pics or signatures when im on shows out of respect but Jerry was very laid back and friendly so i made an exception.

this. he single-handedly made my son never want to get a picture or autograph again. he was at a local PPW (Pennsylvania Premiere Wrestling) show in my town this past summer.my kid had him sign the Elite Series 25. he asked for it in silver,he signed it in black marker instead (and he had several markers there). my son told him how much he liked his character and wished he was still in WWE - no response. he just kept looking down. then the picture they took together was really epic as well: in the end,my kid was really put off by the way Brodus was acting, and decided the $30 I spent on the pic and auto would've been better spent on someone else. This is the problem that can occur when you idolize people you've never met before.

I can say on the flip side of this thread that one of my best was Jerry Lawler.
I had front row directly behind the announce table for a Smackdown taping in the winter of 2000.
He had a christmas book that had just come out and I brought it to the taping with me.
It was just after he had come out and sat down at the table that I asked very nicely if he would sign.
He said to give him a minute to get situated and he would sign.
It was a few minutes and I thought he was going to be too busy but I couldnt believe it when he turned around and asked for my book to sign.
I was stunned that he actually took the time on his own to do that. That led to him getting mobbed by people running to get stuff signed.
He only signed my book, smiled at me and turned back around to get ready for the taping.
I will never forget it.

LOL! there was no "idolization" at all! he was there,my kid had his figure,he had never gotten a wrestlers autograph before,so he wanted it. I didn't expect the guy to be super-cheerful (considering he just got sacked by WWE), or to spill his life story or something. but,you know,it's a 10 year old kid paying to meet you for a few seconds. you can at least smile,or have the common courtesy to LOOK UP! but afterwards I heard about tons of horror stories of his signings and picture ops, even when he was with the WWE. so i guess the guy is just a prick. compare him to Matt Morgan and Too Cool, who were brought in for the previous 2 shows by PPW,and Curt Hawkins, who was at the same show as Brodus. all 4 guys had been in the big leagues before, yet here they were in a little school gymnasium in front of only a couple hundred fans. yet they were accomidating, interacted with people, and were super-nice to any kids who came up to them.

I just dont understand why Wrestlers and just people can act like that.If I was a WWE star and people stood in line and paid to see Me I would be the most happiest man in the world I would make sure I sign and take pictures with every single one of them If it ment that I made their day.Hell I would spent the whole day doing that if I could. If brodus continues his little attitude his lines would be just like virgils in no time.Be thankful that people even wanted to see you.

I hung out a couple minutes, talking with some people I knew (and actually getting mobbed a bit from people wanting to take pics with my Replica Winged eagle Belt, which PPW uses as the design for their championship), and I didn't see even one of the Brodus figures get sold in the 15 minutes I was there. friend of mine got him earlier that day in Allentown,PA., for a signing event he was doing before coming up for the show. he said Brodus was basically the same way there too,not interacting with anyone and basically not looking at the camera, and the few times he did,he looked absolutely miserable.

The only figure I ever got signed was Rob Van Dam's OSFTM ECW Series 1. This was the morning of ECW's Living Dangerously 2000 PPV. He treated me just like an old buddy he hadn't seen in a while. Asked my name, then used it while saying it was nice to meet me. He signed my figure. The only real awkward part was when I wanted him to sign the ECW N64 game cartridge (Hardcore Revolution). It was black, and he was signing things with a black Sharpie. He looks at it and goes - "Is this the Nintendo game?" I tell him it was, but that we'll need another pen. I spy and grab a silver paint pen off the table, and offer it to him. After a Polaroid each, my friend and I were off. On the way back to the car, we compared figures. We hadn't realized that his was signed by RVD, but mine was signed by both RVD & Bill Alfonzo. Random. Though a great experience overall.

Really? Whys that? Hey hey hey! Don't blame the homie Snoop. He's a wrasslein' fan too and I bet he wasn't a fan of Hoedus Clay either. It was at rsf. It was hall nash and syxx. They were just conversing amongst themselves the whole time, barely looking up at the person in front of them nonetheless talking to them. Well they been doing this for a long time, I could see their disenchantment with fans, years of constantly bugging them. But then again... Was this before or after the fans paid for his for his surgery? I'm willing to bet it was before because I think he's since changed his stance on fans since. I know I would! Really? Whys that? Actually, Snoop's real name is Calvin Broadus. So I guess that would make sense then, Rybizzle.

He chose the name "Brodus " as a tribute to snoops real last name "Broadus" because they had spent years working together before Clay got into WWE. A bodyguards mentality is usually negative against the public. He isn't meant to be a "celeb " I've head countless stories about how much of a dick he is at signings. Maybe he should stick to bodyguarding. Either that or stop taking autograph bookings.

What an ***hole Brodus Clay is if he is like that to kids as well! I bet you felt like hitting him but he's the type to want that type of reaction so you did well not giving in to him. Del Rio can also have a similar attitude, I met him at axxess one year and he just looked down the whole time and wouldn't even look up for pictures... Not sure how he is with kids at signings though, I think I've seen him make a bit more effort with them. RVD is brilliant, makes you feel very comfortable to talk to him and does the thumbs for the photo with you.

Best experience:
RVD at an old ECW event, the security didn't want to let him sign for me & he put the security in his place, took me backstage & proceeded to give me his autograph and picture.
CM Punk, he had just beaten Hardy for the World Heavyweight Championship & was signing at an FCW show, he told me & my wife he signed anything, thank me a bunch of times for being there & was super nice with us.
Seth Rollins was another good experience, held a nice convo with me. That night Rollins won the FCW tag title & I was sitting ringside & when he was celebrating around the ring, he grabbed my hand and placed on the title,
Sami Zayn, I wore his mask to an NXT event and I was sitting ringside, this guy was so happy to see someone supporting the El Genrico gimmick he hugged me and kissed the mask. After the show he signed my mask.
Chris Hero, real nice guy, busted my balls.
Paige, loved my El Generico mask and came up to me
Xavier Woods super nice as well who noticed my Art of Wrestling TShirt
Titus Oniel after giving him a ton of heat during his match, after the show I asked him for an autograph & he was super nice & thanked me for giving him heat.
Daniel Bryan, WrestleMania weekend in the middle of the YES movement, this guy was just thrilled of the support fans were giving him.
Ricky Steamboat loved his action figure & took the time to check it out and sign it.
Worst Experience:
ADR & Brodus Clay the two biggest douches I have ever met. Clay even mocked me for having him sign his figure & said something a long the lines you guys just want everything signed. As for ADR I expressed to him how I was a fun of his Dos Caras character in CMLL & he was like yea thanks & completely ignored me. Believe it or not it was my first negative experience with wrestlers.
I've been through out the years to a ton of wrestling shows the indy guys are amazing & back in the days the ECW guys were always willing to sign anything.
