Is anyone else as excited I am at the thought of an official Prince Devitt/Finn Balor figure? At one of the recent NXT tapings he promised he'll be bringing something we've never seen before. I'm hoping that's a reference to some sick new body paint/attire. One can only hope at least

The more new figures the better.

If he starts wearing some cool body paint, and we get a figure, well, that'd be ing cool

I'm guessing that's what he's gonna wear at NXT Takeover. Makes sense too because it's not going to be a legal issue since it's an original design and not a comic character

It's legit all I EVER hear about when it comes to devitt I'd say that's probably what got him to the level of reaching WWE's radar, but I'd say the Bullet Club is what made him a star. Watch some of his matches before he even started the body paint. I'd recommend his matches with Adrian Neville and also Alex Shelly. They're amazing. Im also confident he originated the light up jacket that you see Jericho wear.

Eh, I'm most excited for KENTA, and then closely followed by Steen, but I think if Devitt does end up wearing a ton of different body paint looks, which he absolutely should, then he's going to be a Rey Mysterio-esque cash-cow for Mattel. It's a shame because I would kill for his Punisher or Venom look and we'll never get that type of thing. The Joker look on the other hand could see the light of day.

The Joker look on the other hand could see the light of day. Nope, at least not the Joker getup from the Progress show -- same reason we never got a figure of Rey Mysterio's Joker. Mattel has to get clearance from Chris Nolan on movie Batman stuff, and he wouldn't okay a wrestling figure.

I meant for Mattel figures. Devitt can probably wear the paint but we aren't going to see it in figure form. The Joker look on the other hand could see the light of day. I didn't even realize those were separate licensing deals, but I guess if one deal goes through DC and the other goes through WB(?) that probably makes sense.

I didn't even realize those were separate licensing deals, but I guess if one deal goes through DC and the other goes through WB(?) that probably makes sense. Movie versions of things often have separate legalities from source material, there were certain flourishes in the Silence of the Lambs movie that Hopkins did as Lecter that other production companies couldn't have Lecter do in sequels/spin-offs because they weren't in the books. The Nolan thing is a bit different though, I think he either had it written in his contract for the sequels that he has to okay licensing stuff, or WB might just defer to him on stuff involving Ledger because it's a relatively sensitive issue.
