Chip's 1/1000 Collection Story (LOTTA PICS~N~STUFF)

Coming off my thread the other day (65% of the 1/1000's I have are no longer regular active performers)
I thought I'd share pics of my 1/1000 Collection. I'll also include how I went about obtaining said 1/1000 because (sadly) I did not find them all at retail, although that would have been a helluva thing to accomplish. I also made sure that I found at least 1 version of each 1/1000 chair that was released.

At first I was keeping my entire 1/1000 set MOC...however it just took up way too much space and in the end wasn't worth it. I decided to just keep Series 1 MOC for what it was, the WM Heritage ones MOC since those were "Series 1a", along with the other 2 I had found at retail

Before I opened them all I took a pic all together, this is from a couple years ago:



With that shown...here's the collection, after the pics I'll give the info, the belt # I have (Where applicable) and how I obtained it. Most of them actually came from members on this board, which is awesome.

Here's my 1/1000 PPV Chair figures. When Mattel nixed the belts in favor of the chairs it kind of sucked, with all the potential new figures coming....however the chairs were sorta cool in their own right, even though every figure in a set had a 1/1000 version. These I never had intention of keeping MOC (With the exception of the Punk's) and honestly aside from the Wrestlemania Heritage (Walmart) & Royal Rumble Heritage (Walmart) I can't remember how or when I found them, except I know I found them all at retail with one of the Punk's coming from the 'bay




The Walmart version of Punk came from Wfigs member FFK



Fast Fun Freaky Fitting Facts:

- I have 47 1/1000's total. 39 Belts, 8 Chairs.
- The First 1/1000 I acquired was Kofi Kingston from Kmart on Jan. 1st 2010
- The last 1/1000 belt figure I got to complete my collection was Sheamus
- The lowest belt number I have is #54 (Matt Hardy)
- The highest belt number I have is #993 (Yoshi Tatsu)
- The only "00" one I have is Kane (#300)
- Over the course of about a month I found 7 Kane's, at the same TRU. I wanted to keep the #300 because out of all the numbers I found it was the most "unique". The others were traded or sold.
- Besides 7 Kanes, I only saw 2 other 1/1000's at retail (Cody & Kofi)
- The 3 I have from retail all have a 3 in their belt number
- 9 of these came from the 'bay
- 22 of these came from members on Wfigs (Kollecting King the most, with 7)
- Christian was the first superstar to come with a chair that didn't have a belt version first
- John Cena is the ONLY figure that has had a 1/1000 figure in every way possible: Belt (Series 1), Royal Rumble heritage chair, Wrestlemania heritage chair, TLC chair, Summerslam heritage chair, Extreme Rules chair, Survivor Series heritage chair.
- The Rock, Chris Masters, Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett & Christian are the only guys to have a 1/1000 chair but no 1/1000 belt

That's a pretty cool collection. All your missing is the divas with the belts? It's nice looking back at some of the older guys to see how far along they came in 5 years. Thanks for posting this

ya its kinda wierd looking back at stuff like this cause your like holy crap thing can change a lot in 5 years but it's also pretty cool cause it makes you think about some old memories about wrestling so it's always pretty cool

Those chairs were a great addition that made me want to hunt for basics. The belts were cool, but I prefer the chairs. Now, basics are... basics, and boring.

Chip, is this a complete set or do you know who you are missing?

Edit: I know there is a missing Sheamus with a chair I don't see. I believe Extreme Rules?, but I'm not sure.

i thought everyone in those PPV sets had a 1/1000 chair variant. Sheamus was in Royal Rumble Heritage, Extreme Rules, Survivor Series Heritage

i could be wrong, but i wanted to have at least 1 chair so these were the guys I ended up with.
In total I had found about 8 of the Rumble Heritage ones, but kept Rey and traded the rest. I have that whole set regular & loose anyway
