Everyone hop back onto the Ryback bandwagon. All aboard. "RYBACK FANS OUTTA NOWHERE, KING!" I love ya bro, but I don't like the whole "bandwagon" argument. I'm only speaking for myself, but I was a fan of him since his debut as Ryback. Wasn't ever vocal about it due to how much most people seemed to hate him though. I had enough arguments about Jeff Hardy back in 07-09, and now most people talk fondly of him.

I was joking, but there have been many internet fans in particular that have grown to hate Ryback, then suddenly switch to love him. I'm on the fence towards him. I don't hate him, nor do I like him. I don't think the Ryback arguments will ever compare to Hardy arguments. Man, those were annoying. Anyways, with that being said, I'll sit back and watch to see if Ryback will become a successful main event star after WWE's first failed attempt.

As far as Ryback is concerned, I hope WWE capitalizes on how popular Ryback still is. We'll see next Monday if the crowd reacts to him the same way yesterday's crowd reacted. I just know I'd rather see WWE push Ryback to the moon and back, rather than seeing Reigns skyrocket to the top.

I could write a novel of all the "I told you so's" eh, not really. he was really green when he first came and it showed. i stand by that he was prematurely pushed in the beginning. he's sharpened his skills and isn't being completely shoved down our throats as something before he is anything this time, so people are giving him another chance. i am too.

Ohhh, yeah! I was all about Ryback during his first run, always felt like they booked him poorly and really dropped the ball with him. Here's a chance to redeem it as we're hurting BADLY for new stars and I for one love the BIG-Larger-Than-Life-Wrestler to the regular-guy-looking-wrestler.
Ryback to the top! (err... or close to it.)

Vince stopped Ryback's push two years ago because the fans made Ryback popular then. It wasn't Vince's doing. He was given a WWE Championship match early in his time on the main roster in HIAC against CM Punk. "Vince" didn't stop anything, Ryback himself with his one-dimensional character and poor wrestling abilities did. Fact is, he wasn't able to make the crowd stay with him as a face, he was a flash in the pan and is now remembered for being a tag partner with Curtis Axel. Disagree completely

Fans like ass kickers to get behind. If he's allowed to kick ass while showing some of the personality we saw when he was a heel then I think he will do well.

Even after all the crappy booking the fans stayed with him until his heel turn after WM29. The problem was the wwe made him look like crap in big matches. He couldn't beat punk. He couldn't beat the shield. Hell he couldn't even beat Henry. Even after the wwe botched his run by having punk beat him in HIAC the fans still poped like crazy for him. His poor booking and heel turn did him in.

Hopefully he won't be as trash in the ring this time around, because he doesn't have the mic skills to play that role.
As long as he's popular, WWE need to push him and keep him the hell away from Cena.

He was the hottest act in the company at the time, but the WWE didn't pull the trigger on a title switch because the plan for the title was pretty set in stone to set up the Rock-Cena WM rematch. They could have booked Ryback more competently (maybe a slow-burn that kept him strong), but chose to have him lose every PPV match for about 8 months starting with his first title shot. Hard for the fans to buy you as a main eventer when you get booked as a choker, just ask early 90s Lex Luger.

I'm late to the party but for the love of wwe they need to get Ryback right up to the main event quick! The constant repeating of matches is making me bored for first time in yrs! Ryback can get a crowd chanting and is entertaining...... I was a goldberg fan bk in the day and I get the comparison but hey goldberg was good and RYBACK AS CHAMP or at least up there is best for business! The push he got couple yr bk (maybe longer) was amazing! He can def still do it, FEED HIM BROCK

Ryback shouldn't have beaten Punk......but there was a way for him to be beaten and look GREAT. Vince has almost totally lost his ability to do this.
One of the biggest botches ever occurred at WM29 with Ryback.....and honestly? I have zero confidence that they will handle him well in the long run.
I HOPE they do like crazy.....I really do.

But because they did the only way to salvage him was a win over punk which the www didn't give him. Bad booking out him in that no win situation.

He gave a really nice interview last night... I said it a couple years ago and ill say it again. Ryback can easily be the next top babyface, EASY!! Whats not to like about him seriously? And honestly he is perfect guy for the job in this PG era (Any era really, but given because we are in the PG era) , more so than Cena imo. His WWE title run would be fun to watch. I would tune it for sure and i only watch when Lesnar is on.

The right move would have been to have Ryback end punks year run then drop the belt to Rock, since Rock was walking into Mania the champ anyway. Fact is since WWE put him in that spot, Ryback should have beaten Punk. Bottom line it was BAD booking.

That said, it shouldn't have been Rock either.

I do think Ryback would have been the perfect guy given how OVER he was going into the PPV, regardless of the crappy job WWE did at booking. But i can respect your opinion.
