Who is then? Pretty sure the anyone in the IC Title picture is in higher mid card, so that'd be Sheamus, Miz, Mizdow, Dustbrothers. usos, Ziggler and Cesaro? I'd put Miz in the upper midcard, sure, but Sandow isn't being pushed that high. He's more over than Miz for sure, but he's still treated as a jobber who got a fluke win over Sheamus. He's low card status. Heeldust and Usos aren't anywhere near the upper-card level. Cesaro, Ziggler, Miz, Sheamus and Barrett (when he returns) are in that section. Probably a few others I'm not thinking of immediately.

Let's just leave it Miz wrestles in far more singles matches. That said, Fandango would never be able to reach that level. He was flash in the pan. Curtis is a decent talent, but man, he needs to be repackaged.

He was never going to be that big. You can tell from the gimmick & look he was mid card at best.

He actually did cash in that title shot. I think what put the nail in the coffin for Fandango was his constant losing to during his romance angle with Layla and Summer Rae. Wasn't his tag team partner supposed be R Truth not Michael McSuckycrapty. R-Truth turned heel when they were supposed to get the shot.

I'd like to see Fandango go with the perverted troll gimmick he showed on Total Divas. Entertained me much more than he ever did on Raw.

He never got the tag title shot he was promised for winning NXT season 4. He used it on NXT against Team Hell No, teaming with Michael McGillicutty.

What did you expect from a Dancing Gimmick? It was destined to fail.

I think his theme was over more than the character. I don't see anything in Fandango, so I'm not shocked or disappointed in his lack of push. This.

I would like for him to continue the dancing character but tone it down. He could be over big time with his actual personality on TV I think. His nickname could be "The Wrestling Fandango" or something since the fandango is dance and dance is great and all that. Just change the ring name to something believable.

Fandango was NEVER going to become a main event player.. There are ALOT of wrestlers/gimmicks like a Fandango or Adam Rose that make me think there is no way the WWE could possibly think "this guy could be a big star some day".

crapty gimmick (that admittedly he owned hard), not that great a wrestler. Better off focusing on different/younger talent.

Fandango is not upper midcard, neither is Stardust or Mizdow. Upper midcard is Miz himself, Ziggler, Cesaro, Jericho, Harper, Rowan, and from the looks of things, Ryback will be up there soon too.

He wasn't right for the part of Fandango and also.....the Fandango character had no depth neither.
So it was bound to fail.

I thought he had a good look and looked like he could be really good in the ring, but at the end of the day the character they gave him was never going to last a long time. He was a freaking ball room dancer!!!!! Its amazing he got over as well as he did with it.

Didn't he get injured right before he was supposed to win the Intercontinental Title? I think after that creative had no idea what to do with him. That injury really derailed his career. Instead of him winning the belt last year we got Axel who imo had a really boring relatively long reign with the belt. Who knows if Fandango's likely IC reign would have been better but I would have gambled lol.. Idk if there is anything they can do to salvage Fandango so they might have to just reboot him somehow. If that doesn't work I would not be shocked if he was released sometime next year.
