It seems that the Scottrade Center tends to get a PPV every year since 2010 (with the exception of 2011) as well as hosting the historic 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW back in July of 2012. The Scottrade Center has averaged 17,000 fans every time it hosts either a PPV or RAW (it rarely hosts a SmackDown taping). How did St. Louis became a wrestling hotbed other than it's Randy Orton hometown?

I live in St Louis and the Edward Jones Dome is way too small for a Wrestlemania. Honestly, that means virtually nothing. The WWE held WrestleMania XIX at Safeco Field. A stadium that seats less than 55,000 people. The Edward Jones dome can seat about 70,000 people. This is just about right for a WrestleMania.

I should have been more clear as stadium and arena are basically synonyms. Since after Wrestlemania 22, WWE has been targeting the newest and largest stadiums for WM, preferably ones that are either outdoor or have retractable roofs. Edward Jones is almost 20 years old, completely enclosed, and doesn't hold enough people. If Wrestlemania is ever held at the EJD I will be genuinely shocked and excited.

The Mercedes-Benz Superdome (1975), Sun Life Stadium (1987), and the Georgia Dome (1992) are older than the Edward Jones dome. When it comes to capacity, the WWE can hold anywhere from 66,000 to 70,000 people. It solely depends on the setup they use. With the large influx of new NFL stadiums, I can see the Rams wishing to build a new Stadium.

With the large influx of new NFL stadiums, I can see the Rams wishing to build a new Stadium. The Superdome and Goergia dome both had 300 million dollar plus renovations done in 2006. Plus as we all know WWE likes to have Wrestlemania in the same buildings as the Super Bowl so that they can brag about breaking the attendance record. However, if STL were to build a new stadium, then a Wrestlemania would probably be very likely. All I'm saying, is that as it stands now the EDJ will never host a Wrestlemania.

I would look for WM 33 to be at Lucas Oil Stadium or Seattle. Imagine how loud it would be at the Link
