I think it's sad that we have to fix up brand new figures, it's starting to become a regular thing. If you have an extra arm, replace it or call Mattel and they'll give you a voucher to replace the figure. I heard RSC doesn't accept those vouchers. So I think if yours comes messed up and you open it, RSC wont return it and you're SOL on that specific figure. I THINK... Based on what I've heard

That's a great way to turn someone off from ordering online, especially RSC. Depending how much the person could tolerate.

Mattel either needs to start allowing vouchers to be accepted online; or stop sending out fRSC exclusives that aren't up to QC standards

It's insane to open up a $20-30 figure and have to clean off marks or fix a tattoo. I opened my Lex Luger figure yesterday and it had tiny paint marks all over his arms and back. First time I've seen that. Got everything removed with a magic eraser but it's pretty annoying to have to fix paint marks on a brand new figure.

I feel bad for RSC on this one. It sounds like a handful of people have a tattoo issue with Edge (including me). The problem though, is that you can't tell which figures have messed up tattoos and which are okay because Edge comes packed with his coat on. You won't even know it's an issue until you open the package and remove his coat. Looks like Mattel may be getting some phone calls.

Luckily mine didn't have any paint chips, just a lot of scuf marks on his face.

A prime example of poor quality control on Mattel's part.

How do I post pics on here? I also have an issue with my edge exclusive. $34.79 for a figure gone wrong.

A prime example of poor quality control on Mattel's part. Out of how many people that have received it. We have only seen a handful of problems. These claims of HUGE QC issues are not as widespread as a lot of people try to make it out to be. Out if the thousands of these things only a small handful on our little corner of the internet are messed up..... With the HUGE amount of figures I buy, if all these QC issues were true. I sure as hell would have had more of them. Short of one froze joint which I fixed in 3 minutes. And a bad peg on my avatar reys hand. My 400+ elites have been fine.

I'd say one out of every 3 Mattel figures has some kind of issue I dislike. Usually paint scuffs.
