Except for the fact that he'd been booked badly for months before his comment. Pre-emptive punishment just in case he talks smack about the 2 greatest legendary superstars of all time? That's not what I was talking about. I think it's pretty obvious that his 2-0 loss to Dolph Ziggler on PPV is a direct result of those comments he made. This is an acute case of him being portrayed weak as a punishment, everything that happened before is pretty much irrelevant in this discussion. I think it very much is relevant. Losing to Ziggler after losing most of his matches for months doesn't necessarily mean he's being punished. Maybe it was just more of the same for Cesaro and perhaps (just maybe) they're actually going to try to push Ziggler again? Then again, most of the fans are sick of Orton vs Cena, yet WWE still punishes us by giving it to us.

I just assumed it was a direct punishment but your explaination makes sense too. That's true haha.

Cesaro finally says something someone listens to (and the comment is true) and gets punished for it.

Just watched the last few episodes of the JBL (Not Cole) Show, with Cesaro's parts at the end. It's almost disgusting how uncharismatic he is.

I'd personally choose to watch a Cesaro match, regardless of how dull his personality is, than to watch a Cena/Orton match. Those have become as dull as Cesaro.

What's funny is that John Cena vs. Randy Orton was much better than Cesaro vs. Dolph Ziggler. I'm a fan of Cesaro but if he's implying he should be Main Eventing, well then I can't see his point of view as he is charisma less and is made for the mid card.

Wrestling wise - yeah promo and personality wise - no Cesaro is better technically than Cena, although Cena is underrated technically. Orton is a technical master, just watch the way he sets-up/delivers his powerslam, ddt, vertical suplex, RKO etc. I'm not saying Cesaro is bad, but he has the personality of a brick. Cesaro won't be a WWE champ because he can't invoke an emotional response from the audience with his voice.

I found Ziggler/Cesaro better than Orton/Cena. Orton/Cena wasn't bad but the blatant overuse of false finishes hurt the match. Plus, the first half was tediously boring to me.

I don't think the false finishes hurt the match. It told the story that Randy Orton kept coming at him with RKOs outta nowhere but they were never enough for him to win. John Cena needed all his arsenal to take out Randy Orton as well.

They tried to do a ton of stuff to make up for their lack of chemistry. I much preferred their 2009 Hell in a Cell.
