I definitely would. This is a stupid question. Marino13 is absolutely right. The more options, the better.

We already lost KB... I'd be highly upset if we lost TRU as well Yes me too, KB Toys was like heaven when I was younger.

I would miss TRU if it went out of business. The target near me gets nothing new and the wal-mart near me only seems to stock john cena basic figures.

I would care as my main pay check comes from TRU, but honestly unless the company figures out some better ideas, TRU will die in a decade. Banks will only be afraid of losing their loan capital for so long before they quit refinancing and any dent made in the almost 2 billion of debt gets lost in the interest from the re-financings.
For toy collectors TRU going away will be bad. Wal-Mart likes its toy lines to either have long time brand recognition or be a media tie-in. K-Mart is a wasteland. Target is recovering from the Canada expedition and is watching its inventory to closely and Amazon is terrible at handling items for shipping, let alone checking them for damage before they smash and package them.

Absolutely, I'd care. Not only for all those jobs and families that would be bang in trouble without them, but for the memories I have of it as a kid, the wall of WWF Hasbro figures & toys, the excitement I had when anything new arrived! Its not a collectors shop, its a toy shop, I'd care for sure!

I might be lol cuz then the ONLY ing place in Canada that sells elites (WHENEVER they actually get THEM THAT IS - we've had nothing since elite 26 - nice ing job mattel/tru) would be out of business and I;d have even more nothing than before. Honestly Mattel is a terrible company that really doesn't care about anything but their profits. Which makes really NO sense cuz they're not selling any elite wwe figs in canada. If a company makes things to be SOLD wouldn't they want to ACTUALLY SELL SOME ING TOYS!? Get your crap together mattel. Has to be the WORST business model EVER. We make toys but DON't get them onto retailers shelves. That's smart, SMRT kinda smart. Awful, not just POOR but awful distribution and terrible product KILLED the legends line and elite lines in canada. Cool - that was years ago, why not try again with sales figs from the past 2 years and the fact that the LINE HAS CONTINUED for so long and will continue till at least 2019(?)... C'mon, I mean you mattel - you're a lazy, thoughtless company. There's NO excuse for this kind of difficulty in getting elites in canada. This is just pure lazy bullcrap. And you guys expect BLIND support of your company why? JUST BECAUSE!? I'm not paying 70$ for Lex Luger from e-bay scalpers - especially for a BRAND NEW SHOULD BE ON THE SHELVES figure? You e-bay sellers have NO SHAME btw - and this is what we're left. I couldn't even order LEX off mattelshop cuz as ALWAYS no one put the figures up for international sale in the computers...A- in-gain. Ridiculous. The only reason I wish someone else had the wwe license is not cuz mattel does a bad job on the figs - I love these figs - BUT another company would actually have product on store shelves. It's like dealing with an adult instead of a child. Really getting tired of collecting mattel figs...it's simply NOT any fun for anyone outside of the US any more (and even then I read so many complaints on here about TRYING to find figs and EMPTY shleves for MONTHS). It's ridiculous and for this Bill Miekina guy - hey bud if you REALLY listened to the 'fans' - you (as in MATTEL since you speak on their behalf when you answer questions) would try and fix it so people could BUY your in product. Imagine the possibilities IF PEOPLE COULD ACTUALLY BUY YOUR TOYS!? WOW...

While I would hate to see people lose their jobs, on a personal level, I wouldn't care one bit. It's been almost a year since I bought anything there. My store is pathetic and never stocks anything. It's even hard to find any decent toys for my kids there. Their prices are always higher than any other place, isles are a mess and shelf tags missing. When I do finally find something of interest, it have to hunt for a price. I really feel for the kids now days. I used to have KB, Childrens Palace, Lionel Playworld, and Circus World to go into, as well as Target and Kmart.

Imagine the possibilities IF PEOPLE COULD ACTUALLY BUY YOUR TOYS!? WOW... You seem really misinformed here man. I live in Canada too and I agree that the shelves have been barren lately but it's not Mattel's fault. They can't make Wal-Mart & TRU buy their products. It's the retail stores themselves that have dropped the ball. But if you really don't like Mattel and all that Bill has done (which, I guarantee you're in the minority) then just stop collecting. Or, if you want to complain, send a letter to the head offices of Walmart, TRU & Target asking why they don't stock more WWE merch.
