I was so excited when Hulk Hogan returned to WWE this year, but all he has done is be a talking billboard for WWE. He had a WM moment and his birthday was neat, but other than that nothing! Why won't WWE use him as a GM or a manger or something? I would rather not see Hulk on Raw if all they are going to do with him is keep having him plug stuff, it ruins his name value and the special feel of seeing him.
WWE does NOT know how to use Legends anymore.

I think they're using him pretty much perfect. I got tired of his GM run in TNA and he can't wrestle, so yeah. Leave him as he is, it works fine.

With the Authority being in charge, there is no need for the GM role, so there's no role there for him to fill, and if you were to put him with a manager, all it's going to do is hurt the wrestler more than it will help them, because just with who he is, Hogan is going to over shadow that wrestler.

This pretty much sums it up. Also, I was never a big Hogan fan so the less I see of him, the better.

I fully expect Hogan to do a "half way" check in tonight to make sure all the little "Komen-Maniacs" are "getting the gear and fighting the fight BROTHER "
Btw OP, you do realize that Hogan isn't on the road with the boys every week? Right?

Right? Yes, I do realize that. However to those of you saying we don't need another authority figure with the Authority around, I say your dead wrong. Remember back when Mr. McMahon was in charge and we had HBK show up every now and then to ruin he and Shane's evil plans when they went too far? That is what Hulk needs to be (or any big name legend). HBK did that and never wrestled while he had that spot. That way we could get a special feel to Hulk's appearances and it would help fight off some of the ultra stale product we have now. I'll be honest, Stephanie and Triple H have been very bland since SummerSlam just like the rest of the WWE. We need a shake up and while that shake up might not be Hulk, using Legends better would help WWE a lot IMO.

I don't like Hogan as it is, but whenever I see him advertised for Raw, I know that it's just going to be a ten minute advertisement for something WWE wants to peddle. I usually fast forward through his segments.

No.. Hogan is 60 odd years old, its bad enough that he wants another match let alone WWE agreeing, the Authority story mode is in full swing, it wouldnt make any sense for Hogan to come in just yet in the middle of a storyline as GM not when we're supposed to believe the Authority is in full control of WWE, not unless Hogan came in as a heel which I dont think anyone wants to see again.... I think the reason they use him for plugging stuff is because, well why not have (arguably) the most memorable superstar in pro-wrestling history to do it

His current role has been perfect as far as I'm concerned. But I'm not a good one to ask since I've never been a Hulk-a-maniac.

His role is perfect.
Hulk Hogan is a name EVERYBODY knows and recognizes. Even non-wrestling people know Hulk Hogan.
His new role in advertising/promoting stuff is exact ally what he should be doing at this point.

They are making his appearances dull and worthless, just like the rest of the show. It's all part of the plan!
The Rock's recent appearance was actually exciting and a lot of fun, I wonder how that got on the show.

The first night he returned was really cool for me, mainly because I got to be there live for that, but the nostalgia has kind of worn off since then. I guess that's what happens with everyone though.
As long as they don't put him on TV every single week, I don't have a problem with his current role.

I actually like Hogan's current role. We get to see him on tv every now and then, and WWE gets him to push things like the Network or Susan G Koman. That works for me.

So Hogan was hired by the WWE and he's promoting WWE related events and projects. I think he's doing pretty much what we all expected. Nobody expected him to be a full time on air talent, and if you did? You need to get your head checked for "stupiditus".

I suffered through Hogan hogging the spotlight on TNA Impact for 4 years, so I'm happy to see him reduced to being a corporate puppet, brother.

No worries its good to have a back n forth debate Ok maybe I was a little overzelous with "full swing" but I think the died is essential for all 3 members of the shield going over and staying "over" I mean its all well and saying get rid of the authority but if they were gone then the roster lacks anyone of genuine star power... I've said for a long time now, new guys need to go over someone of importance the authority are those people of importance, the people that fans from 10 years ago will tune in today and say oh thats triple H and Steph and this new guy is fighting them? Its gonna make people wanna see how the new blood fares against the old lions. Personally im digging the angle even with Cena. I'd go as far as to say especially with Cena I loved how they had Rollins come out at SS and screw Cena and im enjoying Cena fussing with Ambrose over who gets Rollins while the authority is trying to protect Rollins, Orton is getting jelous.

As long as he's not given the things that he was given in TNA, I'm good

I would be fine with it if Hogan didn't make me so uncomfortable when he talks.
