I've watched his major PPV matches from his first run and I personally prefer him now as an asskicker. From what I've seen, his current run has overall had more very good matches over his first run too. I love Brock Lesnar matches and incorporating the strong style into WWE style is always great in my opinion.

I like his move set. It actually looks real and legitimate which is always a good thing.

I was pissed off in 2004 when Brock told the WWE fanbase to go itself after being HANDED the world on a silver ing platter, demolishing others in his path. I was fine with him coming back and having some "special attraction" matches. He made a name for himself outside of wrestling and Vince loves money. So I get it. And he did have a strong 2 years in the company. The fact that he truly doesnt care about this business, and the WWE is bending over backwards to protect him and protect their investment....throwing buckets of cash at him but letting people like Justin Roberts go because of "budget cuts" placing the WWE title on him because he's big and was a UFC champion not wanting to pay him anyway to wrestle on anything but PPVs in the last 2 years there are SOOOOOOO many things wrong with this whole Lesnar situation have his limited matches been good? yeah. i think just one with HHH wasn't good. Have Heyman's promos and of course the infamous "blood urine vomit" stuff been good? sure. no issues really. but everything surrounding it is just insulting to fans, insulting to the locker room and personel who bust their asses day in and day out and get crap ON....while Lesnar gets to be whatever he wants because he's big and strong. its a ing travesty that he was GIFTED the WWE title and doesn't have to do a god damn thing to earn it.

Lesnar, a man who has gone on record to not truly care about wrestling, has been given so much by the industry. It's insane.

I feel as if he's not trying as hard as he was in 03/04, he's gotten real lazy in his matches. Which is why his matches haven't been that good.

He's the only guy on the roster that is legitimately a monster. I love him and I love his promos. I feel like we should be thankful.

I will always be a fan of Brock Lesnar...what's happening now is what the WWE thinks is the best it can do with him at this time... Also, I guess PJ wouldn't have liked Nigel McGuinness...Ambrose uses the Rebound Jawbreaker Lariat in tribute to him...

When he debuted in 2002, he was awesome...then he opened his mouth, and it ruined absolutely everything. He looked like a goof after that, especially as a face. Then the Wrestlemania XX debacle made me have zero respect for him. Fast forward to 2012. I dislike MMA, so what he did in UFC means nothing to me, but even his harshest critics have to admit that he's a genetic freak. Although I am fairly positive his UFC title win was manufactured (not booked, but his run was manipulated to tell that story, at least in the beginning), having a genetic freak former UFC champion as anything less than a monster in a pro wrestling ring goes so far beyond suspension of disbelief that it would border on fantasy.
His return match against Cena was an embarrassment. Not the match itself, but the fact that he lost to Super Cena (who they had to have win after his Wrestlemania loss to Rock) made it all a waste. Heyman returned for him, and things were already exponentially better. He needed a mouthpiece. The Triple H story was sort of a throwaway to me, I didn't care. He seemed aimless and I wasn't entirely sure why they brought him back. I felt similar about the Punk thing, but I tend to avoid anything CM Punk related. That was the first two years.
Fast forward to this year. He kills Big Show, another waste. Then the streak happened. I was furious. WHY??? And part of it was the streak ending at all. I'm like everyone else 'might as well have kept him undefeated' 'if they were going to do it it should have been so and so (Edge for me)' 'he doesn't need it' 'he's a part timer' etc. Now that the shock has worn off it built up his last few months perfectly. I actually thought the Summerslam match was an excellent story, and perfect for the guy who beat the streak. He's been booked pretty damn well since Wrestlemania in my opinion, and the return only now feels like something worthwhile. I'm not big on him being off TV for the rest of the year, but his presence on TV will only dilute his impact. Yes, its sort of fading now, but its better than when Rock was champ for 3 months, and there really isn't anyone on his level (booking wise) besides Cena, which has been done to death....MAYBE Orton, which goes against the Authority storyline.
When Wrestlemania comes around, not to sound like a dick, but I hope Reigns isn't ready. I don't want him to be injured, and I wish him success, but he is not good enough to be the one to beat the one in 21 and 1. He isn't even good enough to beat any of the other 21 in my opinion. If Lesnar's story ends at Wrestlemania, I hope that the Rock is somehow the guy to do it...or the Undertaker if he is still able. (Or Stardust/Cody Rhodes, but that's just a fantasy).
Basically, the point of this post is that it was terrible when he first returned, its good now, but if Reigns is the guy, it will make all of this build, including the Taker's loss, meaningless. It needs to be someone who can actually perform, or at least 'electrify' the fans. Lesnar is a monster, and like Undertaker, the right guy needs to take him down.
Just for the record, I still don't think Lesnar was the right guy to break the streak, but whats done is done.

He's a beast and all, but i really don't like the champ not having at least a match a month.

its a ing travesty that he was GIFTED the WWE title and doesn't have to do a god damn thing to earn it. You can say whatever you like about how Brock Lesnar doesn't deserve to be the WWE Champion, but he has the best matches on every single card he's on and sided with Paul Heyman makes him that much better. Brock Lesnar is the best thing going in the WWE today and if he truly gave absolutely no s about wrestling and didn't deserve it that wouldn't be the case. He does his job, which is being the beast, he does it well. No reasons to complain about him to be honest.

Punk/Undertaker > Brock/HHH at WM29 and Ambrose/Rollins > Brock/Cena at SummerSlam. I get what you're saying though.

Personally I think he's one of the greatest in ring talents of all time. Certainly in the top 10 anyways.

He's had 9 matches since returning and only 2 matches were not the best matches on the card, but they were certainly close to it (my two that weren't the best were Mania 29 and 30). If that doesn't say he's not deserving of the championship as the best, I don't know what could from this non-kayfabe viewpoint.

Besides losing to Cena in 2012 and HHH at WM29, Lesnar has been great since returning to the WWE in 2012. As an in-ring performer, he works a compltly different type of style from what he did in 2002-2003. During his first run, he was one of the best technical wrestlers and overall in-ring performers the WWE had. He was consistently putting on 5 star matches and was portrayed as dominant but also as someone who was beatable due to rookie mistakes.
Since returning, he has worked a style similar to his UFC time. He isn't portrayed as a powerhouse who makes rookie mistakes anymore. Hes portrayed as a veteran of multiple fighting rings who can tear anyone apart. He doesn't make mistakes like he did as a rookie. He simply dominates his opponents with no mercy. Because of this booking, his style isn't flashy. He doesn't work a typical powerhouse style. He works a style with many strikes, a few suplexs, and submission holds.
Does he put on 5 star classics like he use to? No, but his matches are still entertaining. We have never seen anybody given a push like this. He dominated the face of the WWE in a brutal match, and then again in the rematch. He beat the Undertaker clean at WM. His matches aren't pretty to watch, and they're booked to be that way. I enjoy watching Lesnar destroy his opponents in mere moments. As the current WWE Champ, he is making the title more important by dominating all of his opponents and rarely showing up. Lesnar is one of the few reasons to be interested in the WWE right now.

i really want to know how and why all these people constantly say he's "one of the greatest of all time" HE HAD A TWO YEAR WWE CAREER TWO YEARSFFSAnd his equivalent since coming "back" in 2012 is about 2 months worth of shows for all the other guys who actually have to bust their asses 300 days a year to view the ladder they'll never get to climb because they aren't big and strong...or they don't "looks like a BEAST!" the way he was booked this year of course makes sense. he defeated Undertaker at 'Mania....it was natural he should have become champion. but to have this long drawn out POINTLESS title reign is devaluing the WWE ing Championship. People bitch about the IC title being treated as a joke....Dolph Ziggler has had more title defenses than Brock Lesnar in the last 2 months. This is wrestling. Scripted, television, entertainment. It's not 1985. The WWE is actively trying to get people to have their programming become a 24 hour a day part of their lives. They want you to eat sleep and drink WWE. The #1 guy in the promotion should be on the ing weekly TV show(s). The idea behind a big monthly event you are supposed to pay for is that you want to see the Championship defended. The reason UFC doesn't do that every month is because THEIR guys are REALLY getting the crap kicked out of them and they physically are unable to fight for months at a time to recover from the 100% real ass kicking they received. Add to that the UFC doesn't need stories to keep people interested. The WWE is about stories and scripts revolving around wrestling. Right now the top position is essentially VACANT and we've got Cena there anyway. What difference is it if Cena has the title or not? He's still going to be the focus of every show. Then Lesnar comes in for a title match, wins and disappears again. It's not like him showing up is this monumental amazing shocking never-before-seen moment. I just. Don't. Get it.

You don't like Lesnar. We get it and that's cool. Some of us do. Its also clear why the WWE pushes him the way they do. Not only does he play the heel role better than anybody the WWE currently has, but he has mass appeal. I'm a big Dolph Ziggler fan. I think he's the most misused talent in the WWE and deserves to be booked better. However, he doesn't have the mass appeal and drawing power of Lesnar. People buy Lesnar as a legitimate monster of a man and his rare appearances help build the intrigue people have with him.

Brock Lesnar would have to become a child murdering pedophile for me to dislike him.. Love me some Brock Lesnar. Even now that I don't watch anymore, I check the net to see when his next match is so I can make sure I don't miss it.
