Why was it a huge deal on here when the American flag was accidentally dropped onto the ring mat but now WWE apologising for this is "unnecessary ". Seems quite hypocritical. I don't/didn't care about either.

Ok...like I said, they verbally disrespect that country basically every time Rusev is on TV. So I still don't understand how literally disrespecting a country is somehow less offensive than symbolically disrespecting that country. Oh, it's really not any more disrepsectful. I should have been more specific but I meant that the whole flag/ground thing is probably what made WWE feel they had to apologize. I agree that it's really not that much different than the crap they've been pulling every week anyways.

Who even are the people complaining about this?
Like there's being a patriot and there's being a total idiot.
"Hey Vlad, people are being beheaded weekly, but the biggest crime is WWE making a flag touch the ground!!!"
Get a pair and grow up if you think this is bad, it's 2014.

Complete publicity stunt by Vince....they knew going in they'd have to apologize. They just want to be the talk of the media.

As long as they aren't apologizing for Lana's cleavage being all out and about, I'm fine.
