I said in a reply that by "wrestling fan" I mean someone who will like and judge people by their wrestling skill So basically I'm not a "wrestling fan" because I like someone that I admit is awful in the ring? I like plenty of sh-tty workers--Kane is another one. That somehow makes me less of a wrestling fan than you? I've probably been watching wrestling longer than you've been alive. That said, oh great one, tell me what kind of fan I am. Obviously I'm not on your level since I don't like exclusively elite level workers. I don't fall into the "WWE fan" category--so what am I? This is the kind of elitism that ruins discussions about wrestling and makes internet fans as a whole look moronic. lol what are you ranting about .. You literally took what I said completely out of context.. All I meant was is that the wrestling fan side of someone won't like her because of her wrestling ability, but the wwe fan side of someone can like her for other reasons

You said a "wrestling fan, someone who will like and judge people by their wrestling skill". You didn't say any of that extra crap at the end.

If I believed everything on Total Divas, I would consider Natalya to be a catty, mean spirited woman.

If I believed everything on Total Divas, I would consider Natalya to be a catty, mean spirited woman. and if I believed everything on Total Divas, I would consider Cameron to be the most annoying woman on the face of the planet. ...wait, I thought that when she was on Tough Enough for one episode, too.

That she was. The Melina/Alicia Fox moment.

I don't think that has anything to do with kayfabe in wrestling. Unfortunately, it's more of a testament to pop culture and how gullible people in this day and age will believe anything they watch if it's a reality TV show. I mean, there are people (and lots of them) who actually watch reality TV and think it's real.

Nothing is "real". It's all entertainment.
Be happy that shows like 'Total Divas' are bringing new eyes to something all of us love. That is how I view it, at least. It's whatever. Wrestling is a television show.

I genuinely struggle verbally with portraying how much I despise TD and its entire concept......I really do. You and me both.

They are going in line with the storylines you see on RAW & SmackDown every week. I felt bad when Brie and Bryan went to look for jobs and look into buying their own B&B. Then again, that shows the Brie is a quitter and Bryan continues to be B+ talent.

Exactly I mean I personally don't see anything wrong going just a little Kayfabe I mean Im pretty sure all of you guys go kayfabe when you favorite scripted tv show comes on so why not go kayfabe for a WWE Storyline? There's nothing wrong with getting into a storyline.

People saying it doesn't obviously didn't watch the beginning of the Summer of Punk and how literally everyone was refreshing bleacher report at the end of MITB, or just want to act like they despise it when they still watch it weekly.
As for Total Divas, I'm not a big fan.

All the girls from my grade watch it and love eva marie lol and they also believe the stuff in it. I guess the only people who like eva are teenage girls and thirsty guys. Wrestling fans don't like her, that's for sure. I'm a wrestling fan and I like Eva Marie. I mean, not like as a wrestler or anything like that. I mean in the same way everyone liked Torrie Wilson. That "god bless her she's trying and she's horrid but as least she's easy to look at" way. This. Also, I like Total Divas, it's just an extension of the regular WWE programmes - scripted story lines guised as legitimate conflicts. It's just WWE without the wrestling. I was really into the fight between Natalya and Summer Rae this week.

Total Divas just makes the diva's division seem like even more of a joke...if that's possible.

Total Divas just makes the diva's division seem like even more of a joke...if that's possible. Brie Bella said it best on Talk Is Jericho, the diva's are getting more exposure because of Total Divas. If Total Divas wasn't around, the diva's in the WWE would be getting less TV time. Now that Total Divas has been a success, the WWE is taking advantage and giving the diva's more TV time and more recognition.

I know for a fact that if I was a wrestler, I'd be in character 90% of the time. Total Divas isn't really helping WWE in my view, but eh. If you were a heel in WWE you'd probably get fired. WWE killed kayfabe and want it to stay dead, they don't want true heels anymore, it's sad. All the girls from my grade watch it and love eva marie lol and they also believe the stuff in it. I guess the only people who like eva are teenage girls and thirsty guys. Wrestling fans don't like her, that's for sure. Some girls I know watch it too and for some reason they hate Summer, is she really bad or something? I've never seen the show. I thought the same thing last night when they showed people in the crowd crying cause Henry lost. I envy them in a way. That was just...sad in a way to see a grown man cry over THAT match. Wrestling fans don't like her, that's for sure.I like Eva Marie. Though I feel she would be better used as a valet for a tag team than a wrestler. The heel heat she gets right now, if she managed a heel tag team then they would instantly get heel heat. Her wrestling though, is the drizzling $h!ts. Wrestling skill really doesn't matter, although I agree she'd be a better manager though, can she talk? I like Eva Marie. I mean like, you can like her for other things but her wrestling is garbage and it's impossible to try and deny it, which is why i said "wrestling fans" don't like her and not "wwe fans" I'm a wrestling fan and I like her a hell of a lot more than I like either Bella, her ability to get heat is amazing, she doesn't even need to speak, she's like Vickie.

I always love your AJ 'hate' comments.... because as you know, I feel the same way you do about her. I was hoping she would get released because of CM Punk, but maybe... just maybe... the hidden gem here with her becoming Divas Champion again is Stephanie McMahon can work a program with AJ and make AJ look like a complete fool on TV... and then fire her from the WWE.

Yeah it was odd. But those are the type of fans WWE strives for. The ones that just watch and enjoy (or cry) instead of dissecting every aspect of the show on the internet.
