I would have loved a cover with "Gold/Stardust".....
It's a shame that the last few years, they stopped giving covers to anyone who wasn't at the very top of the card (Cena, Orton, Daniel Bryan). They used to rotate around and put mid card guys on the cover - it probably helped to promote them.
Seems like the formula for the last two years or so was:
Cena - 6 covers Orton - 1 cover Daniel Bryan - 1 cover Compilation of many stars - 4 covers
I think Rey & Undertaker also had covers, but that's about it.... The Shield never even got a cover (until this last one), and the Wyatts never will....
The Magazine really lost all creativity in the last few years.... I was a big fan since 1989.
I use magazine covers from all eras to decorate my collection room... guess it'll be a little harder for me to find new material, now...

The covers almost always used a six-man rotation of John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, and The Rock. With the exceptions of The Miz, CM Punk, Edge, Daniel Bryan, Batista, Dolph Ziggler, and Ryback; the covers featured either of the six-man rotation or a group cover.

I don't know why they can't at least put out out a couple special Newstand Magazines a year.

This is probably what would've happened IMO. NOVEMBER 2014: Triple H (cover); The Wyatt Family (JOTM) DECEMBER 2014: John Cena (cover); Seth Rollins (JOTM) JANUARY 2015 (THE 2014 WWE MAGAZINE AWARDS): John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, & Roman Reigns (cover); The Miz (JOTM) Anyway, I do think that WWE Magazine, WWE Kids and WWE Presents were expected to end publication sooner rather than later with the rise of internet making wrestling magazines obsolete and I don't think it will be too much longer before Pro Wrestling Illustrated ends publication in the coming months. Your thoughts? are you gonna carry on JOTM on here? its a part of WF now...

Source: Lords of Pain- Despite WWE Magazine shutting down, there are reports of fans receiving offers from WWEshop.com that advertises a reduced rate subscription to the magazine for just $19.97 per year. There was some speculation that another publisher may pick the magazine up but we haven't heard anything about that actually happening.
