On the back of his neck... Why are Mattel apparently refusing to add this to any of the short-haired versions? It wasn't on the WM 20-0 elite, and it's not on the new best of 2014 WM 30 figure - which does have his new throat tat - either. The only short-haired 'Taker to have it, is the ABA elite 18. It's getting rather annoying now, that they keep leaving it off, and I'd like to know why... and there's no colour involved, so they can't use that excuse. It may be nitpicking, but it should really be on there. With any luck, it will be on the upcoming WM 30 BAF - but probably not.

Elite 18 Torso cracked onto modern 'Taker figure. Put the modern head on it. Sorted.

I don't get this, either, and it's something I've wondered about for a while now. I could understand the 20-0 TRU Taker not having it since it was somewhat of a rushed figure to be put out in time for the fall, but E27 Taker definitely should've had it. I think it's just laziness on their part, kinda like them Punk's blue tights that they used red on multiple times and never bothered to use the correct shade of orange.

I think it's one of those weird things like how I could never figure out why Elite Punks were all having extra tats on his back and the drug free on the knuckles and the behind the ear one that basics didn't, but his basics were having the extra right shoulder tattoo forever before it showed up on elite.

They don't do Goldust's tattoo on the back of his neck either

They don't do Goldust's tattoo on the back of his neck either Goldust has a tattoo on the back of his neck? They really need to do a brand new torso mold for Goldust. The MVP t-shirt mold has never been accurate for him, as Goldust's jumpsuit covers his entire neck. But that's another story.

because it would cost too much in deco to stamp the tat on the back of the figure considering his torso has no other detail other than a black top.

Maybe they don't have the rights to the tattoo like Santino's Conan tattoo

And yes he definitely needs an updated torso.

I wonder if Mattel was banking on Taker to keep his long hair so his neck and shoulder wouldn't have to be deco'd. Anyhoo, I'm not that picky about accuracy on an action figure...if it's close enough, I'm good. I just hope they don't take the Jakks route and completely leave out back detail.

While we're at it, Elite 18 Undertaker should have the SARA tattoo. (I get why they didn't put it there though, but it would have made it more authentic)

Elite 18 Taker is basically perfect besides the Sara tattoo. And it can be added pretty easily, I drew it on with a pencil and sealed it so it didn't rub off.
