I'm not sure if it was just me, but Raw sucked. To build hype for a PPV wouldn't you want to see that guy you absolutely cant stand just get beat up, and have the baby face walk away with the "happy ending"? Well WWE gave little to no reason to watch Night of Champions this sunday
First off on Smackdown last week Jericho pinned his Rival Orton Roman Reigns pinned Rollins 1-2-3. (i don't remember the last time Reigns was pinned clean honestly) The Usos and Sheamus won against their challengers (which in my opinion killed any momentum Cesaro had) Dolph Ziggler Pinned the Miz in their tag match John Cena and Mark Henry looked strong against their monster opponents
In my opinion this did not build towards the pay per view. Sure it will be interesting to see Cena face Lesnar, but how interesting would it of been if Brock beat the hell outta Cena on Raw, and then you don't even know if this new Super Sayain Cena can even beat Lesnar.
Curious to hear your guys opinions

Raw has sucked 94% of the time for about six years.

Some of it did, some of it didn't. A good example to support this was this monday's Raw. Cena beat up Lesnar (we haven't seen Lesnar in weeks), which kinda reminded me of their brawl back in 2012, but Rusev and Mark Henry ended the NOC send-off show. So, yeah, they did build up pretty badly up to this past monday's Raw, so, as a result, had barely any heat between some of the feuds that are going on.

It would have been a decent Raw if it happened last week instead. I think they did give a lot away for this weekend. I'm excited for NoC because I've got a floor ticket, if I didn't I don't think I'd have a reason to watch on Sunday.

i've gone and watched raw just to see if it was as bad as people on here claimed...and for the most part, it was just bland. and that's bad news for a raw before a ppv.
i enjoyed the heyman/cena/lesnar bits but the rest was just garbage. and i don't know if it's just me, but the crowd was absolutely beyond dead.

I can't even begin to wonder why they had Rollins vs Reigns in a match on Raw when they were going to have another at Night Of Champions.

What annoyed me about RAW was not only did they basically give away Reigns vs. Rollins on free TV, but it ended on a clean victory. Why the f*** would I care about what happens on Sunday if they basically gave it away on RAW. What I would have done was Reigns and Rollins had a confrontation in the beginning of the second hour and Triple H comes out and says, "Why don't we give a preview of what to expect at NOC and have the match tonight" or something like that. Then before the match starts, Orton and Kane comes out to beat the crap out of Reigns again and then NOC, have the match end in a DQ after again Orton and Kane comes out to attack Reigns, but this time Ambrose returns and saves Reigns from the beating, building to a 2 on 3 Hell in a Cell Match with them. I mostly wanted this to be the Hell in a Cell Match at the PPV just to give Lesnar a break since I don't think Lesnar will defend the title at every PPV, so I doubt Lesnar would defend it at Hell in a Cell and I think this match will be well received by the fans if they build it right.

The entire card is worthless besides the main event. Jericho vs Orton and Reigns vs Rollins should be big, and they're not. They are just Raw matches, literally so in the latter case. This is why part-timers are important, because WWE can't just say "oh well let's do the PPV match on Raw lolz" with those guys. Actually, Henry vs Rusev has been fine and Miz vs Ziggler has had an okay build (certainly better than most US/IC "feuds" these days), but I don't think anyone is very interested in it. But on the whole, when this is the show they are relying on for network renewals, very poor. I was thinking of resubscribing for Sunday, but the build has been so bad I won't bother.

I've been a subscriber since day 1, and will continue to be because I love the classic content and NXT, so they already have my money and that doesn't matter. I just can't see how they believe the product they have been putting out is going to encourage a bunch of new subscribers or change the minds of those who have already decided to cancel.

At this juncture, I think I'll be skipping most of Night of Champions this Sunday. Most of the above posts explains why.

Pretty much this. Except for the resubscribe part as I have continued my subscription. This is the Pay-Per-View that I'm least looking forward to so far in 2014. I was pumped for the Rumble because, duh it's the Rumble. EC had the Shield/Wyatts that I was stoked for. Mania is Mania. Extreme Rules and Payback had cards that I really looked for. Money in the Bank is always fun so I was excited for that. Battleground had a card that looked good, but it disappointed and SummerSlam was another show that I looked forward to. For Night of Champions, I only really wanted to see Rollins/Reigns, but they gave that away for free.

I'm only tuning in for Lesnar vs Cena, none of the rest interests me or I've seen it many times before. if any of the other matches end up being good i can just catch a replay, no big deal.

If Lesnar wins Sunday...WWE missed the same opportunity they did with the Undertaker. They should've had Lesnar lock in his submission and snap the arm. If it's going to be competitive or another squash...make Cena have an excuse this time for losing...going into the match with an injury. The "what does this mean" for a match a week or two away at a big ppv would be interesting to me...

I think giving away Rollins/Reigns one week before the PPV was stupid, as well as Cesaro being beaten by one of the Usos.
IMO, Raw and Smackdown were created on TV almost solely for screwy finishes on matches so people would buy the PPV's. There's no reason why Rollins/Reigns should be given away on free TV with a clean finish while it should be your 2nd or 3rd highest match on the card this sunday.

Yeah, particularly in the case of Rollins/Reigns.
They gave away a match that should have had some hype behind it away for free, with ample time and a clean finish, and then in the same breath, asked people to pay to see the rematch. Why should you?
It's just horrible, lazy booking. Most of the posts above have covered it. We're getting into the fall of '13 all over again.
As of right now, I plan on watching the Steelers/Panthers game on Sunday night and Night of Champions sometime on Monday. I have full access to see the Pay-Per-View live via the Network, and they haven't even given me enough reasons to do that.

I thought the same thing while watching Reigns vs Rollins this Monday.
However I have to disagree about Cena/Lesnar. We saw Lesnar walk all over Cena at SummerSlam. I think by having the brawl that they did it made both guys look strong and like they were really wanting to destroy each other. I think it made Cena look as if he might have a chance Sunday but without making him look overly dominate. If I had watched Lesnar destroy Cena at SummerSlam and then again on the last Raw before Night of Champions, it wouldn't have made me wanna watch this Sunday.

The last ten minutes were beyond forgettable. LOL why is Rusev and Mark Henry closing out a show in 2014, to build up a payper view that is about champions....
