I started collecting when cs came out. I do like mattel, i buy and collect them now but i bought way more jakks figures then because jakks had so much more to choose from and they were cheaper. I could buy 2 cs for to price of 1 elite now.

Ever since I could remember. I started off with BCA and from there went to TTL. After RA's came into the picture I stopped. When Mattel took over I fell in love with there product and began collecting all over again. Just wish I never got rid of all my old figures.

About Wrestlemania9 .. 1993
I prefered WWE Jakks so today only get some TNA figs and old WWE Jakks for the broken ones.
On Mattel I just buy Elite's of Stars that I want badly and never had a Jakks figure. (Sin Cara, J.Gabriel,..)

I've been collecting since the early 90's!! I can't put my finger on exactly when I started collecting.
My parents used to by me a figure each week if I was good instead of getting pocket money and I remember the first figure I ever got is still my pride and joy today. I've been collecting since the Hasbro days, then went to Jakks and now collect Mattel. I think my parents thought I would snap out of it as I got older but in fact it got worse as I started getting my own money, I remember at school/college my mates would be spending money on beer and nights out but all I wanted was the latest figures! Can't believe I just admitted that!! (I would like to say I am not a sad old man, I'm still young and getting married next year)!!
everyone asked me how many I have and it's pretty hard to count them all these days but I have around 1,500 and have everything from 1990 Randy Savage (which was my first figure) all the way to Jimmy and Jey E31 2014.

I wouldn't call it collecting, but my first wrestling figures the BCA figures. I was a big fan of TTL, but only sporadically bought wrestling figures. The first major collecting I did was Jakks classics and in the last few series I fell out of the groove. I didn't start buying Mattel figures until about series 17 and they instantly became my favorite wrestling figures. It took a while to catch up with everything I've missed, still have a few DM's and flashbacks to pickup, and my collection has grown so large that I decided on a 2002 cutoff. No Wyatt's or Shield for me unless they come in BAF. Some figures though, like current Hogan, I'll get regardless.

I stopped collecting toys for years...until I had Kamala in my hands. When I saw him close up - it was over for me lol. Id never seen a toy look THAT much like a real person before. I remember just staring at him on my desk and thinking wow - FINALLY I have what I always wanted, G.I. Joe style wrestlers. As opposed to the LJN and habsro figs growing up... I remember showing a buddy my collection one day and him being like "wow....NOW they make them cool." lol So since L2 hit the shelves, that's how long I've been collecting mattel's wwe figs.

1989. At the ripe old age of one. The year Batman came out at the cinema and thus began my 26 year love affair with the guy. I still have my 1989 Batman figures. Even tho a dog of mine got a hold of Bob. Oh, Bob the Goon, how I miss thee. From there, it has spiraled into comic and wrestling related crap that my mother had no anticipation of when I was a child.

I have been a collector since i can remember. I did however sell my first collection to pay for football training camp when i was in high school. It was the worst thing i ever did. I got back into collecting in 2008 when i seen the Classic Superstar line.

I've been collecting figures all the way back to those bendems when I was little and then I started with Jakks not sure when but my first figures were from the Ruthless Aggression set that had Eugene and Rene Dupree as those were the first. I collected those up until they lost the deal. Started with Mattel at the end of 2012 and with some ebay hunting I have a basic of everybody Mattel has made. I've been collecting for awhile.
