I think WWE already has their next plan in place and that is Reigns, Ambrose, & Rollins.
Personally I would go with Ambrose. His unpredictability is exactly what WWE needs to give them a shot in the arm. I would not book him as superhuman (fans are tired of that for awhile), but as the guy that may get knocked down he he's not going to stop. He's too crazy to stop.
I would have Triple H book him in a punishment match against Lesnar. And somehow someway Ambrose takes the beating of a lifetime but still get's the biggest win of all time. From that point on I think he'd be a made man.

Brock Lesnar until Roman is legitimately ready.
I would continue to build Ambrose as well as letting Daniel Bryan shine like he should be.
Basically Lesnar, Bryan, Reigns and Ambrose would be my go to guys.
Ambrose would be my top face in due time.

Well, if Cena leaves...WWE is going to be in a tough spot.
I can't say who they build as a top heel and face. I think Rollins maybe should be a top face or heel. He could work as both. Ambrose could be one, I guess.
I'm not sold on his in-ring work to be honest. So, I really can't say.
We shouldn't jump the gun on this. I doubt Cena will ever leave until he is forced or he is in his mid to late 40s.

The guy I know who will take his spot is Roman Reigns as he's got the main event look and knows how to get the a hold of the crowd. I don't have a problem with this as long as its not too soon, he's been on the main roster for less than 2 years and is improving every week. He will be a great wrestler in the next few years as he progresses. Along with him at the top I want to see Dean for obvious reasons, and Seth. These 3 guys are the blatantly the future but Reigns will be 'the guy'.

How would I do it? And I'd keep these two guys warm to carry the B tour and take over if RR was away doing movies or injured for a while: I'd be tempted to go with Rollins as my #4 babyface too. And bingo was his name-o.

CM Punk + creative control + huge contract... (minus H burial and ignored title reign)

Reigns isn't ready yet and Bryan probably doesn't have much longer left due to many injuries. And those would be the only two options. Rollins is my favorite thing going and I highly enjoy Ambrose, but let's be fair guys, neither are going to be the man like Cena is the man. They will make great secondary stars like Savage and Warrior.

Hmm that's a good question. It's so hard to say because really anyone could be the number 1 guy if given the opportunity. If I had the opportunity to pick 3 I'd say I'd most want to see ot be Ziggler, Barrett or Ambrose.

Sure, it's neck issues, but he's getting it fixed immediately, unlike Austin who waited almost two years to have surgery. Edge had another right years, but also had multiple other injuries afterwards.

Seth Rollins. Phenomenal ring work good mic skills and, while doing great in his heel role, is a natural baby face. Not to mention already having been the "top guy" on a much smaller scale. Not to mention dudes getting ing jacked. He'll look legit in a year or two

If his interview is legit, he's having a common athletic surgery to replace the location of a nerve in his arm to get the strength in it back up to snuff. It sounds like the worst part is behind him, and this is just a minor follow up procedure that holds him out another 3 months. When he comes back he can cut the diving headbut and his awkward-landing missile drop kick from his moveset and he should be in a lot better shape for the long haul.

Rollins had quite a long one on Raw this week and it was pretty bad, but there's still time to improve at that. It's the biggest gap in his game at the moment, and when he nails it the sky's the limit for him.

I know the guy can cut a promo, because he's cut some damn good ones in ROH he just hasn't been able to really delivered a great one in WWE yet. But he will I know he has it in him. I don't know if it's the scripting throwing him off or what but he just doesn't seem to believe what he saying, so how can we believe it?

Daniel Bryan could EASILY be the new face of the company as much as WWE wants to deny it

If I'm supposed to hand select the next face of the company, I'm strapping a rocket to Dean Ambrose's ass.

Probably not happening any time soon, no matter how banged up he is. From Meltzer:

Logically I would go with Reigns. I don't get the hate he receives on a consistent basis. He's certainly not my favorite, but i don't hate the guy. But idealistically, I wanna see guys like Bryan and Zayn and Ambrose and Cesaro be "THE" guys.
With that said, since we are playing fantasy here, I would repackage Sheamus as a monster heel with an IRA-esque gimmick. I would love to see if Kofi can click as a heel. Hell, you never know until you try. Hopefully they'll go somewhere with this Big E, Woods, and Kingston pairing.
Cesaro needs to be a face(blame his ridiculously awesome move set for the baby face pops) even though he owns as a heel.
And it'd be nice if they unify the criminally misused US and IC belts and have either Ziggler or BNB get a lengthy(and meaningful) run with lt.

Why would they allow Lesnar to Suplex him 16 times on his head, neck, & shoulders if they knew he was having problems with those parts, seems like a dumb move on the higher ups part to have their #1 money maker beat down & have his real life injured parts specifically focused on in a brutal match
