don't forget too, this thing was supposed to be out in 2013! who knows how many times they were repacked in going from TRU to amazon. it's possible at least some of the carding was damaged before amazon even shipped them out. But WFers expect every one to be handled with white gloves like museum curators do. A bit like Doc loading up the Delorean with plutonium in BTTF. you figure, they were shipped from China to wherever TRU's main warehouse/ distribution centers. then they sat there for well over a year. I'm sure they weren't in a hyperbariatric, oxygen controlled storeroom. as they sat there, and their distribution kept getting pushed back,I have no doubt cases and cases and cases of these got moved around to make room over that time period, and I can't imagine them handling them with kid-gloves. then, once the Amazon deal was reached, they were rounded up and shipped out to distribution centers all over the country. so these things were moved around several times before even getting to Amazon. and trust me on this, the hospital I work in has a large loading dock near where I work, and I see EXACTLY how deliveries are handled at the bulk level, i.e. like a basketball and soccer game combined in one.

Whoa, this escalated. You guys, arguing about who is right, the MOC guys or the loose guys. Both and neither. A kid could come on here and say we're all too old to be playing with toys. You see, it's all a matter of perspective. I just wanted to point out that I would be mad if the listing didn't return with a note not promising excellent carding. That way people who don't care about the carding can still have one. I would side with the moc collectors who feel something should be mailed with more care, but I almost can imagine with the age of these packages and them playing warehouse shuffle that they were probably largely damaged already before even seeing amazon's shipping branch. We should really point our finger of blame at the real a-holes here: Toysrus. I saved receipts starting in June. I had enough for me and two of my moc friends to get 3 apiece. I would have loved to have thrown those upc's away. I would've loved to have bought basics at places that cost several dollars less and were closer to home, but I was thinking, "what's 12.99 over 9.99 when you can get a whole other figure for the extra two bucks?" Well said, man! I'm a MOC collector, but couldn't care less that people want to open them (they look GREAT out of package). Personally, I want to be able to get what I paid for back out of them if for some reason money gets tight. Also, some of the packaging itself looks very cool to me. But I see both sides certainly.

I do like the looks of the packaging quite a bit. If I was rich and had more storage space, I'd be one of those guys who buys doubles of everything. These figures have got to go back up, because if they don't, it won't be a matter if then disappearing from the market, they'll just shuffle down the chain if command. And maybe, just maybe, they wind up at Ollies for 5.99 a pop, but more likely they wind up at Ringside and those guys have to compensate for how much they paid and it becomes a $30 toy.

It's an item. And people collect it. Therefore it is literally a collectors item. Someone could collect matches or tissue paper, is it a collectors item just because they collect it? No. When you tag "exclusive" to it... It's a collectors item. It's an iconic figure that we WAITED for for a year+

glad i ordered 2 as soon as it went up.
i really hope this isn't an issue because a bunch of people called Amazon and complained about not perfect packaging. im all for doing what you want with a hobby, but if you're that pissed off about a card being bent and then you call amazon demanding refunds and new products....
well now you're screwing it up for everyone else, and i'm sorry but that's just not right.
People are also forgetting the fact that Amazon is a business....they aren't going to sell a toy for $15.00 and spend 10 minutes of man hours, and money on packing peanuts/air packets, then ship in big cushy boxes (which cost more as well) just so some collector can have a pristine perfectly uncreased card of a toy that's actually MEANT to be opened....I don't care what anyone says...an action figure released to the masses, produced in the quantity of thousands and sold for $15 is not designed to be perfectly situated inside its plastic.
Amazon should do what other toy companies do and offer premium shipping for collectors who buy from them under their toys & hobbies category. They could charge an extra $5-$8 or whatever the other guys do and you get a perfect card or package (or the best they can find), a perfect sized box filled with all sorts of soft stuff to make sure it doesn't get damaged, etc. That would cover their extra expenses without raising the cost of the item itself.

This makes no sense to pull an item due to complaints about the carding ffs yes.

I'm just glad I already have mine. Such a well made figure.
... I'm also glad I don't collect MOC, as Amazon ships like crap.

It doesn't go up or down -- Amazon's price will likely always be $14.99, which works out to about £13-14 with postage. Amazon just aren't selling any more until they resolve whatever the issue is (seems like it's people complaining about the packaging). But the marketplace sellers on there are people who bought it from Amazon and are selling it on at double the price. Ah ok cheers mate, I'm waiting for the $14.99 actual Amazon listing then! this is bd
