If I cancelled the order, would it go down by much/how long would it take to go back to normal price? Edit; Cancelled the order, only bought Flair. Shouldn't take long to go back to the £13 should it? It doesn't go up or down -- Amazon's price will likely always be $14.99, which works out to about £13-14 with postage. Amazon just aren't selling any more until they resolve whatever the issue is (seems like it's people complaining about the packaging). But the marketplace sellers on there are people who bought it from Amazon and are selling it on at double the price. Ah ok cheers mate, I'm waiting for the $14.99 actual Amazon listing then!

Four Mankinds sent to me. Four beat to crap BOXES.... It's an AMAZON EXCLUSIVE... It should be a COLLECTORS item in perfect shape if I request it, four times.
I've been on the phone four times now. I've complained four times. They've sent three awaiting the fourth.
My remedy: bigger box.
Their remedy: Ship it in the same box and get the same results.
I'm not being a jerk. But when they're screwing around with me. I'll screw around with them.

I ordered two and both arrived with less than mint carding. But I've certainly received figures in worse condition from Amazon. Its always a crap shoot ordering online. So I usually expect some creasing but I tend not to get "bent" outta shape about it.
It's pretty cool that we were able to get the Mankind figure at all w/o having to deal with a TRU mail away.

I was waiting to get paid again. Now I'm paid. Now it's gone. If it was the packaging, I don't give two s's and a m'r-f about the package that's just going in my recycling. Hopefully it goes back up soon. It should, right?

Mine showed up mint and I live about 3.5 thousand miles away from Amazon's warehouse. But I'm not very picky with the carding.

I can agree with this, but it's an exclusive to Amazon, so as an exclusive it's a collectors item and should be handled as such. I mean, it's different if you could just get on at mass retail. Some people may want the best overall condition item that they pay for, so in this instance I believe they have the right to complain.

This makes no sense to pull an item due to complaints about the carding

I honestly didn't know how serious being a mint collector was, I just thought not opening the box is all that matters but no, gotta have the card in mint condition, sounds like a serious case of OCD, not that its wrong but dang man, calling to complain at Amazons crappy packaging is a waste of time. (if thats the case) Its a huge warehouse , and they're trying to ship all these orders at a certain time. I was expecting my Mankind to come in terrible condition, but I was one of the lucky few with a fresh Mint card.

That definitely sounds like MOC collectors b*tching about how the figures are being shipped.

I'm a loose collector, but seeing both my figures stuffed inside a tiny box kinda threw me off. I wanted to give the other figure to my friend who is a serious MOC collector, but with the bent cards, that was a no bueno. He ended up just buying one for himself off Amazon for $14.99 and his came in in pristine condition. I guess you if you order one, you had better chances of getting it shipped properly.

When mine arrived, I was expecting this TINY box. As it seemed everyone that got theirs was pretty pissy about how small it was and how the figures were crammed in there. All 3 figures fit fine, and even had some packing paper tossed into it to make sure they didn't get banged up.
1 was mint 1 was a little dinged up 1 was pretty beat up
but it wasn't due to being crammed in the box, or even due to shipping as the shipping box was mint.
its all down to where these things have sat in storage for a year, shipped around... then finally moved to amazon as a last ditch effort to sell them. Im really hard pressed to believe that they are all being crammed in boxes they barely fit into .

I ordered 5, 3 were banged up and 2 were pretty solid. They were in a decent size box but they only pack with air pillows mostly and it lets them slide around in the box

Honestly Amazon went above and beyond offering this figure to us collectors after thinking it might never see the light of day and especially at a bargain price of $14.99. That's what Elites were when the line debuted! If you're really anal about the packaging then just buy from one of the scalpers (they most likely have the ones with perfect packaging) and save yourself the hassle if you're not willing to gamble.
