All bryan has is a chant.

They're both equal. The only plus Punk has over Bryan is his mic skills.

Punk has always been the better psychologist and sharper on the microphone, but Bryan draws a reaction like no one else can. I really do believe the WWE is his for the taking if he stays healthy next year. Plus, Punk has always had a semi-bothersome personality to me. Personally, I think Bryan is better. He's what Punk never got to become.

i like punk more, but i'm not sure either are better than the other. bryan is arguably more well rounded in the ring while punk is the better talker.

I have to say Punk. His mic skills are ALWAYS on point. Ring work is always good and his charisma is always there. Daniel is the same except the mic skills. Gotta give it to Punk.

I think Punk is more entertaining and edges it on that.
Skills wise, they are equal but no denying Daniel Bryan has looked better than Punk in 2013.

Bryan. He has an intangible quality which gets into the hearts of fans which Punk never did. And, personalities aside, Bryan is twice the wrestler Punk was. Bryan is also more popular at his peak than Punk was at his. This isn't even close. PREACH IT MY BROTHER. Yeah I agree

Punk is by far the better talker, but Bryan is way more likable -- and Bryan's a WrestleMania main eventer. I'm undecided. So is Lawrence Taylor. WM main eventers not a good way to judge on quality of wrestler. Unless you feel like Taylor>Flair, in which case I can't help you. I don't know why some people are talking about Bryan and Punk the people, the people are not who they are on screen. You don't see people saying Heath Ledger's Joker sucked because he was a drug addict. I don't know why some fans must get in the lives of people to determine favorites.

Both are brilliant but Bryan is better. I actually can't believe Punk is winning by double the votes. Bryan is the best wrestler in the world since Chris Benoit. And before anyone says Punk is better "all round", Bryan can hang on the mic aswell and be capable of cutting some great promos. I just wish he was more like the Bryan Danielson from ROH and less of the "YES/NO" bullcrap. It holds him back as a character IMO. It's something that they should just let the crowd chant, but unfortunately WWE run every little thing into the ground and made those 2 words become everything Daniel Bryan is about. Which is a shame cause "The American Dragon" is 10x better than the "Yes man". And much more credible as a main eventer aswell. I hope when Bryan turns heel again, he will shave his head and beard and go back to the plain maroon tights, and use more submissions and suplexes in his moveset. I love that Bryan is huge right now but I want to see MORE. Bryan > Punk Angle > Benoit dude Angle > Bryan Angle >>>>>>> Punk Angle vs the best pro wrestler North America has ever seen lol. Benoit>Every other wrestler in the last 30 years in America.

Humility goes a long way. I'm going Daniel Bryan here. Punk is a notch above excellence, but his cocky attitude and self centered demeanor is a huge deterrent for me.

Because a successful talent takes who they are in real life and just turns up the volume a touch. That's why D. Bry plays such a likeable face and Punk played such a convincing bunghole heel. If we're just looking at strict in ring talent though then it's without question that Bryan is better. Punk has even admitted before that Bryan is a better wrestler than him if I recall correctly.

Flair changed the way the industry works so people like Bryan could come in and beat up big guys and so that people like Austin Aries could turn up and wreck everybody on the microphone. Just because he pioneered something doesn't mean he's the best at it, but there's no question that his contribution is not only bigger but also more poignant. That's like asking who the better band is between The Beatles and Oasis. Oasis were far more technically proficient, had higher production value and wrote songs which rivaled The Beatles in quality and in sales - for all intents and purposes they were probably slightly better - but The Beatles are the greatest of all time because of their contribution to the music industry, not for how well they played their instruments. It's not a fair question. Bryan is better than Flair in the ring, but Flair will always be the best ever.

It doesn't prove quality because crap has main evented it before. The original guy said, Bryan is better because he main evented WM, which is a paper accomplishment that you will only get if the company likes you.
