I just watched Night of Champions. IMO, it was a good PPV. The Tag Team opener was great, I was a little surprised that the Usos lost the titles. Hey, they had a great title reign. I don't see the Dust Brothers keeping the titles very long, maybe they'll lose the titles at Hell in a Cell. Cesaro vs. Sheamus was a great match, despite Sheamus retaining. I really thought Cesaro would win the match at the end. They pulled some great moves. I especially liked Cesaro's counter to the Brogue Kick. The Intercontinental Title match was good, I didn't like that Miz regained the title. When Mizdow and R-Truth brawled to the back, I thought Ziggler would retain, but then Mizdow came back and interfered. I loved Ambrose returning and their brawl. Hopefully these two wrestle inside Hell in a Cell. Rusev vs. Mark Henry was decent, had its moments where Henry might have won. Rusev won, eh. Orton vs. Jericho was very good, probably my favorite match of the night. Orton winning was expected since I think Jericho is done after this. The Divas title match was better than I expected. I didn't like AJ winning the title again, but at the same time I was happy Nikki Bella lost. I was also surprised that Brie Bella didn't run in and cost Nikki the title. All we got was a horrible promo where I went, "Just shut up, no one cares". I mean her promo was flat. Even Roman Reigns had one good promo that craps all over Brie's promos. The main event was good. Of course Cena had a lot of offense. The DQ finish was expected, but not Rollin running out. When Rollins came out, I was like, "Oh no, don't tell me they're gonna have Rollins beat Lesnar for the title". I literally marked out when Cena stopped Rollins from cashing in. I also liked Lesnar giving Cena the F5 to finish the PPV. Overall, I'll give this PPV an 8 out of 10.

Another good PPV. I was entertained throughout with great matches and wise booking decisions. Especially the ending was great, a lot of stuff could happen next.

Everything about the ppv was great, right up until the end where it all went downhill. I don't see how the main event delivered in any way with that ending.
Unless Lesnar can appear on all shows as the WWE champion, I don't see how people are saying he is a great champion. The fact that he was only in a couple of RAW's after Summerslam is ridiculous. The same will happen later tonight as well i suppose. He will appear on RAW tonight, and then go MIA until the final RAW before Hell in a Cell... Again, ridiculous. Not forgetting his nonsensical contract clause he has with the WWE. What BS...

Main event reminded me of the Seahawks vs the Broncos. The Seahawks destroyed the Good guys in the Super Bowl. And yesterday the Broncos put up a fight against the Seahawks much like John Cena. Took the game to overtime but still lost. Cena may have won by DQ but Lesnar still came out on top in terms of being the reigning champion and the last man standing in the ring.

I liked the opening promo. Seeing the belt being made while quoting past champions is perfect for this PPV.
Tag title match was awesome. Somewhat surprised we saw new champs but it doesn't bother me.
Sheamus vs Cesaro was a great hard hitting match. I'm a fan of both guys so the outcome wasn't important to me much.
Disappointed Ziggler lost. Decent match nonetheless.
Ambrose attacking Rollins was so awesome.
Rusev vs Henry is what we all expected. Not a fan of Rusev.
Orton is stale and Jericho is in a rut. Bad idea to have these two go at it. Worse match of the night, no doubt.
Divas match was pretty good. Nikki is just so bad at acting.
Main Event was good. Real good. I kinda liked the finish too. Not sure if they're ditching Ambrose vs Rollins for Cena vs Rollins, but I certainly hope not.
Would have preferred it if had they saved Ambrose's return till Rollins was cashing in at the end of the night.
But I liked the days when story lines overlapped. WWE seems to be doing that again with some of the feuds and I'm okay with it.
Night Of Champions PPV gets a 8 outta 10 from me.

YES! YES! YES!Best part of the PPV. Proving who's The Best Diva In The World I don't mind AJ Lee as Champion, but I don't see the point right now. Paige should've kept it to continue to establish her. AJ's at a point where she doesn't need the belt to be the top Diva. Know what I mean? And WWE protects Cena AGAIN!! Yea, like they did at SummerSlam. Also, I've posted a short reveiew of the show on my blog

I was at NoC last night (floor seats! WOOO!). I wasn't expecting it to be a lame duck show. I'm an apologist for WWE and put up with more than I should, but last night was pretty rough.
The crowd in Nashville was terrible. Aside from me, the Sign Guy, and some fat dude in an old Miz shirt no one else in the lower section really did their part. It was really odd. The arena chanted "This is awesome" a lot though...their expectations must be very low...
The majority of the matches were good, but things like Russev/Henry and AJ winning the title (WTF?!? Why?) kept it from being a great PPV. Brock/Cena was really good I got exactly what I expected. I'll watch next month when they're in the Cell for sure.

I really enjoyed NOC.
Uso's vs Dusts was a great tagger IMO. I look forward to more from these two sets of teams.
Sheamus vs Cesaro.......physical, brutal stuff that had the crowd really into it. LOVE these two clashing.
Rusev's booking was VERY flattering against Henry IMO. You can see he has commitment from creative and the agents. I wonder who the next "patriot of the month" will be?
Really enjoyed Ambrose return and that entire segment.
Miz vs Ziggler was a good match too.
The Divas are like watching paint dry for me. I know Paige and AJ have their fans and that's cool beans.....but I just don't get it.
Orton vs Jericho......both are capable of better. You cant help but feel this was just something for Orton to do so he doesn't fall through the cracks.
Cena vs Lesnar.
IMO? very enjoyable. I understand the booking of the end sequence(although not ideal) and it has me interested going forward. I presume Cena & Lesnar will now clash at HIAC in the cell.....and now at least we have a legit reason for this clash.

Paige should've kept it to continue to establish her. AJ's at a point where she doesn't need the belt to be the top Diva. Know what I mean? I know what you mean. And I think the Divas Division really needs to create and establish more Divas to keep up with AJ. But the thing is Paige has flopped in the Main Roster and hasn't done anything special to already be a two times Divas Champion. Paige is just lost with no character(other than "mock" AJ?) and I don't know who has the fault in that, but right now she's just another Diva just like all the others but only paler(She's no Anti Diva). She's still young so hopefully she will develop more with time and connect with the crowd someday. But for now she just seems lost in there for me(I mean "minutes" before the match she says the match will not be a skipping contest and still enters the arena skipping right after? WTF? After all... Why does she even skip?). Hopefully AJ won the Championship, so that she can start a feud with Stephanie McMahon by being screwed over maybe? That's what I'm hoping for...

I ended up watching Night of Champions on about a 45 minute delay last night after starting, and quickly becoming bored with the Steelers/Panthers game. (I later watched back my recording of the game - evidently I made the right choice.) First and foremost, watching on delay afforded me perfect HD quality throughout the whole show with no drops, which was pretty awesome.
The show was solid. I say solid because the product in general is so bad right now that a decent Pay-Per-View can't really make up for it. What it did do was keep me entertained, which is far more than I can say about Raw for the last month. There were no absolutely stellar matches, but none of them were particularly bad either.
I don't like dusty finishes to Pay-Per-View main events, but I get why it had to be done. Cena can't lose to Lesnar again and they need to drag the feud out one more month until the inevitable happens. It left the event going off the air in a bit of a lame duck way, but it was necessary.
I honestly thought the divas match stole the show, followed closely by Sheamus/Cesaro. It was hard to really care about the latter, though, since there was hardly any build and it really meant nothing.
I thought Jericho/Orton was solid, but meaningless. Orton is treading water badly right now.
Ambrose being back couldn't come soon enough. They need to put these two in a cell.
Far better than last year's show, for sure, which gives me hope that WWE can pull themselves out of this fall funk.

Nice PPV, wanted to see Cesaro wins the title though. When Rollins came to cash in, I was really excited! But Cena came out of no where... And Lesnar is still, the champion.

The trouble is, what is WWE's plan for Cena after his feud with Brock Lesnar? It makes me think they just feel like they can't have him lose and just go off into another programme, so there only option is to have him go and beat Brock Lesnar eventually. I wasn't a fan of the finish at all, but I guess it makes sense with the Hell in a Cell supposedly stopping any outside interference. I did however think the four AA's was a bit too much considering Lesnar didn't even manage one F5 during the Match. It was as if the dominating and groundbreaking Summerslam Match was all for nothing now. I think it will be a complete waste if Brock Lesnar's reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion only sees him have three Matches with John Cena.

I really enjoyed the pay-per-view. The only thing I didn't like was the finish to Lesnar/Cena. I don't feel like Lesnar needed to take the beating he did towards the end, they could've easily had Rollins interfere after the 2nd AA to get the same point across. They went overboard trying to make Cena strong with 4 AAs and the three STFs.
Nothing to really complain about from the rest of the show, although I was really disappointed Paige lost, AJ really didn't need to win the title back here so soon. I'm fine with Miz beating Ziggler, I like the idea of the two trading the title back and forth. Too many feuds are lopsided these days.

there were some great matches but i just didn't care about the outcome of any of them other than cena/lesnar. - cesaro/sheamus was great. some great near falls, but i feel like most of you guys probably do, the best guy and the guy who deserved to win didn't. - orton/jericho was a solid match... that should have been on raw. this feud wasn't fit for a ppv in any way shape or form. orton and jericho are two of the biggest stars, we should be made to give a if they wrestle. i'm hoping for wyatt/orton next and i thought this was an excuse to see that but nope. seems like jericho wanted to give a quick rub to orton before leaving again. - ziggler/ miz is was a good match with horrific build. last time i watched raw, these two had some decent chemistry. now they're putting r-truth, an established veteran, and sandow, a guy who was proving himself to be main event caliber TWO YEARS AGO as 'sidekicks'. sandow stole the show and was his usual hilarious self but i think all of these guys should be doing better. perhaps they took the title off ziggler to slide him into that number 3 babyface slot now that reigns is out? - main event was a disaster. the match wasn't bad and it told a decent story at times but it didn't help anyone at all. lesnar is no longer an unstoppable beast, cena still got destroyed, rollins continues to look like a bumbling idiot. the obvious direction for this to go was also the best -- cena comes prepared, he puts up a damn good fight, lesnar after multiple attempts at the kimura locks it in real nice, cena sticks to his philosophy of 'never giving up' and SNAP. writes cena off for a bit but makes him look like a total badass. lesnar remains untouchable on that throne. so yeah, overall i'm surprised at the positive reaction. sure, the wrestling was good for the most part, but it usually is. this ppv was a total throwaway.
