I found that the joints should have been bent further then they had been. More curvature mid-flip, would have helped out in the realism of the animation. I think that it would have been a helping touch to have had RVD lean into the ropes more than you made him do. The flip at the end was without any visible faults. Bending of the legs throughout would have taken away from this downsides I imagine.

Would have him lean into the ropes more. But, that required me to move to the otherside of the camera and the space was cluttered and I tried to be careful not to cast any shadows on the canvas or background. The rolling was the best I would do, given the articulation limits of the torso. Also I didn't wanna break his legs, elites of that mold have the reputation of breaking on me, earlier and later elite series. I did the best I could, that was all I can say. I agree on what you are saying though
