Didn't Scott Steiner also hold the WCW US title at one time?

I still dont see it happening as that's part of the money that will have to be included into the lines budget. You might get So & So with the US Title but then the 5 figures in the sets with them will be very plain jane looking. Your typical Orton, Triple H, Cena & ADR because the one time that belt is used, will have to be paid for in that series budget.

I would imagine the elite line as a whole has a higher budget then a 1 off figure on RSC. Its not like using a title they have the rights to because WWE has the rights...They (Mattel) are going to have to PAY to get the rights, they have to make sure they get a return for their purchase.

Me, personally it would be an EASY sacrifice of an Elite set if it was Rey, Orton, HHH, Cena, ADR, Show and lets say, Windham with the wcw classic United States belt. EASY SACRIFICE.

Surfer Sting Elite with the WCW US Title So awesome! I used to love wCw magazine at this time period. If memory serves, didn't Stinger win both of his U.S. titles in tournaments? First time beat Stunning Steve in the finals, second time beat Meng in the finals.

I want that US Title so damn much. Here's the thing though: they're saying "talk to us" but how much are they asking for in those conversations? Maybe the amount of money that they want versus the amount of money Mattel can allocate to figure accessories is too much.

LOVE the classic US title and I'd be happy to see it with anyone. But Surfer Sting should 100% come with the alternate WCW Championship. These guys I think are realistic possibilities: - Goldberg - First figure should come with US and WCW title, from his most "Defining Moment"
- Scott Hall - Would just be icing on the cake. US belt and a vest shouldn't break the bank for Mattel.
- Booker T - We could use a good Flashback Booker from WCW. What better accessory than this?
- Scott Steiner - like Booker T, if we don't get his Tag partner a belt would suffice. (Rick Steiner is a must, though)
I would love a Raven. Not just for WCW but I would buy anything ECW. However, MDT said during the Q&A he thinks there's some heat between him and WWE. So Raven is unfortunately not likely anytime in the foreseeable future.

Not that it really matters, but Reggie/Dave/Midwest didn't make the US title that Hart/late 90s guys I don't think. (I could be wrong) That belt was a little different and only had 3 plates most notably. You can seen in the pics with Hart vs the one that Sting has.
JMar made the 3 plater and WCW possibly owned the rights to it. Just pointing it out. It doesn't matter as Mattel can make the Reggie version which I prefer. Not certain when they made the change. I love all the old WCW/NWA belts and would love to have them.

Huge Raven fan, but the guys has some serious heat with the WWE and his figure is very unlikely. As for Goldberg I believe the guy isn't even under a legends deal. I seriously believe that our best chance at getting this belt ASAP is with an elite surfer Sting.
As for Luger, fans were very clear which Luger they wanted, I don't think a generic blue tights Luger would sell well.

King of Kings In my conversations with Dave, to paraphrase he stated that he & Reggie are in business to make a living from thier craft, and that a deal with Mattel for any of their artwork, is better than no deal at all and that they are more than will to form a deal that is good for all parties involved. jeffro2000 Joe Marshall stole Reggie's artwork plain and simple, I've had this conversation with Dave Millican. Durring Kensuke Sasaki's reign wcw hired Joe Marshall to redo the United States championship belt, he made different side plates and stole Reggie's center plate design and enlarged it. How they let him get away with that legally is beyond me. As you stated the Reggie U.S. belt will work just fine with all the possible names we've been brainstorming.
