"Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers would be out of this world. He never had a figure before, which is why producing him would be special. He could come with a towel or the old World Wide Wrestling Federation belt. Despite not having a flashy attire he had tanned skin, beach blonde hair, and a cocky stuck up grin that could set him apart. Like Rogers said when he won the title, "To a nicer guy it couldn't happen." I hope within the next 5 years Mattel will give us these men that deserve their elite figures. Rogers would be my choice for historical reasons. Yeah we will be getting a Sid, I know that he is high demand, but getting guys that never had a figure before would be more special. WWE recently did an interview with Shawn Stasiak and it seems that they are on good terms so perhaps we could even get a Stan "the Man" figure too. Since Shawn would have to approve it. Mattel is on it's way to make history though it is up to us old school fans to hound them to death (like those fans calling for a Razor Ramon figure for so long) to get the early WWWF guys like Rogers, Stasiak, Graham, and Morales and Koloff. I have no doubts that guys like Backlund and Sid will get their's I want the guys that have never gotten a figure before. It would add historical value to an already impressive line. Give this man a medal.

In order... Superstar Billy Graham - blonde hair and purple tye-dye tights. (My father"s favorite)
Bob Backlund - young WWWF champ in blue or green trunks.
Pedro Morales - orange and red trunks.
Ivan Koloff - but I want an NWA version with Nikita.
But I want all four I mentioned. But if they were going to be one at a time I want them in that order. Although I did vote for Pedro, because nobody else did and he deserves better.

The Master... and the Ruler..... of the World! Sid has his critics. But name another wrestler who defeated both Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels to win the WWF Championship? Name another wrestler who main evented Wrestlemania against both The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan? My vote: Sid!

BeeDub the CHUD Hunter we think a lot a like dude.
I love the old school guys I also collect current guys like Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Damien Sandow, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Randy Orton. Adding the pioneers to the line would look cool since it would be representing all eras. Mattel does an incredible job these figures are like mini statues in the way MDT has crafted them. So far this company has been the greatest in detail to ever produce WWE stars, granted JAKKS had more stars but the WWE and JAKKS had a long partnership. Mattel's contract extends 5 years I truly believe Mattel and the WWE will be with each other even beyond that since I read an article somewhere that stated that the WWE toy line is one of the most successful lines in all of toys.
I think that they need to roll the dice and give us guys that paved the way. Rogers would be awesome and even someone like Bobo Brazil, the Jackie Robinson of professional wrestling, would be great seeing as the MDT puts a lot of detail on their figures they would give those guys justice. The men that truly paved the way for guys even like Hulk Hogan.
I hope that they grant us old schoolers more guys that we still marvel at despite them not having a flashy gimmick, bright color attires like Fandango, or a new and upcoming star like KENTA or Prince Devitt.
My Top 10 WWWF era guys would be 1.) Buddy Rogers 2.) Bobo Brazil 3.) Billy Graham 4.) Pedro Moraels 5.) Ivan Koloff 6.) Jay Strongbow 7.) Stand the Man 8.) Bob Backlund 9.) Killer Kolwaski 10.) Vince McMahon, Sr.- the man that made it all happen. It would look cool form a visual standpoint to see him in figure from next to his son.

Superstar Billy Graham would be my first choice, but only by a hair over Sid. I'd be very happy to see either done by Mattel.
If they ever make Ivan Koloff, I would hope they make Nikita Koloff too. I think more people would recognize Ivan from his days as part of the Russians in NWA.

Sid's the only guy on that list I would buy. Same. Maybe I'd get Backlund and put the elite 22 Sandow robe on him though. If I'm honest, I might end up buying Backlund if it was a 94 version. I didn't like the guy at all though. It would be more of a "New Gen Shelf" type of deal for me. If it was a Basic for $10 then it would be a far more justifiable situation for me.

I'd be down for that, I'd love Nikita and getting Ivan from the same period would be awesome. I loved the set that Jakks did of them, I got it from TRU Times Square on clearance.

I would love to have figures of all of these guys, but realistically Sid is probably the only one that has any chance of being made.

Bob Backlund with that huge green championship belt that the Iron Sheik beat him for would be neat!

It really is a shame. I like Sid, but talent wise he doesn't even belong on the same list as most of these guys...yet he is landslide winning.
