25. Liked wrestling as much as any 80s baby did during the 90s. Preferred ToyBiz WCW figures to BCAs and then quit following wrestling around 2000 or 2001. Got back into it because Mattel got the liscense and I was already collecting DCUC and thought the idea of a well articulated straight edge hardcore kid in action figure form was cool enough to own. Now I split my money between bills/drugs/action figures. I have like... 300? wrestling toys now and well over 500 figures all together, mostly all comic book based.

22, will be 23 on the 28th. I started by playing with my figures in the 90s with my brother. We stopped around 2003, and my brother got back into wrestling in 2009/2010, and with that he started collecting. He has pretty much every Mattel Matt Hardy, but hasn't been around to collect anymore since he joined the military in 2012. He came home from Germany/Afghanistan last week on leave and he saw the new figures at Comic Con and now he wants the Warrior that is in the upcoming Cena/Warrior 2 pack lol. We do talk about wrestling figures quite a bit on Skype video calls. I started collecting again in 2010, my first Mattel figures were the MVP/Mark Henry 2 pack and Shawn Michaels Entrance Greats. I really liked how much detail went into even the Mattel basics over the main Jakks line, but I still do buy Jakks lots for figures I don't have. Jakks will always be a part of my childhood, and I love them, no matter how crappy they are compared to Mattel. I now have a little over 250 wrestling figures. Mattel, Jakks, WWE or TNA, I collect them all. Todays the 28th Happy Birthday

I'm 21, 22 in August, watched wrestling as a kid with my brother, even broke a couple bones doing moves on the trampoline. collected Jakks TTL, RA and Finishing Moves were my favorites. I was also into music and started playing guitar at 10, so I kind of left wrestling alone for a while, got way deeper into music, learning as many instruments as I could. Then in 2012, my buddy brings over Raw vs. Smackdown 2009 for the ps3, recognised a few people, then we bought a few more games, then started watching Raw or Smackdown here and there, started getting used to the new wrestlers.
Daniel Bryan really grabbed my attention, which made me think of Benoit, and how incredible he was, and how I could get used to WWE letting this other smaller guy, who was clearly a great wrestler, do the headbutt and crossface(didn't know there was a difference at the time) as his finishers! Then I ordered from Ebay an old TTL Benoit figure, and thought to myself, wow this is completely disproportionate, then one day at Walmart, snuck down the toy isle, I saw elites and battle packs, and again didn't realize the difference and thought, well why not get 2 figures for $20 rather than 1 right? I learned after I had 4 or 5 basics, I bought the first Elite Ryback and was hooked.
I was legitimately blowing money on figures at this point, which was not smart for more than one reason, because I figured out later on I wanted to mainly collect Attitude Era figures, but had only a few of them, and all the others were current guys and shelf warmers. I've made a lot of progress in that time, spending a lot wiser, and making wiser purchases, there is a lot more to making a truly great collection than meets the eye.

30 year old socially inept reject. The only thing keeping me from dangling lifelessly from a tree is collecting figures. Quite interesting, as I'm a 36 year old socially accepted reject and the only thing keeping me from dangling other people lifelessly from a tree is action figures

Im 26 this year. Been a wrestling fan since '97 so im obviously a big Attitude Era fan. The first thing i ever saw was Cactus Jack cutting a promo on the Outlaws and bringing out a large wood crate, from which Chainsaw Charlie then emerges. Also, die-hard Rock fan since day 1 (on top of having nearly 30 Mattel Rocks, i also have 3 of his 'electrifying' silk shirts, and a cross between his tattoo and blue bull logo tattooed on my arm). Ive collected since i was a kid in the BCA days up through RA. I kinda fell out of wrestling around 2006, came back around 2009 for a bit when Legacy was goin strong, then fell out again til someone texted me that The Rock returned in 2011. Then it was an every night thing again.
As far as figures go, most of my old figures were gone by the time i got back into wrestling, but upon walking through a K-Mart i saw a Legends Rock and Austin sitting on the shelf.....thats all it took. Tons of figures and customs later i now have a collection that a large 5-tier bookshelf cannot contain.
If it comes up in conversation or it relates to something i dont have any problems telling people im a collector. Its not the first thing i announce to people but im not ashamed of it at all to tell people. I like it, its a part of who i am. My gf, my family, and my immediate friends not only accept it but support it was well. As far as affording, i dont spend above retail for any figures unless its been a top want of mine since i started collecting. I preordered WM14 HBK the moment it went up.

Turning 16 in a week.
I first got two Jakks micro figures back in 2009, started watching collection videos on youtube. Later in Jan right after Mattel lunched their lines, my parents got me the TRU Basic series 1 six pack, E1 taker, WHC & ECW belts and a Jakks spring ring. A few months later my country started getting a few figures. I was hooked. I was 11 at that time. I used to spend EVERY SINGLE damn buck on figs until I turned 15. Money got tight, slowed down, sold almost everything I had. I thought it was over, but the addiction is catching up on me again...

I'm 40' been around wrestling all my life, my dad was a cattle and some of his clientele were tx wrestlers. Sat at the dinner table many times with the funks, wind hams parents, fritz Von Erich ect as a kid, was raised on Ft. worth wrestling (WCCW). I teach middle school and coach football and wrestling, collect gi joe and nfl mcfarlanes along with wrestling figures. Never stopped buying toys, comics or football cards. Started watching wrestling in the 70's, and have never stopped.
Ps I hate typing on this freaking iPad, it makes me look illiterate with its autocorrect.

As soon as I saw "Been around wrestling all my life" I automatically started quoting the Rock's warzone rant... "and i've NEVER...seen an attitude like yours. Let's see what you're really made out of when i get you in the ring." My goodness! lol I had to add that just in case someone else had that across their mind as well. Awesome collecting bro. G.I. Joe is a great way to start.

I'm 40. Have a wife and 2 kids. One boy one girl. I've been a fan of wrestling since I'm a kid. So much so that I wrestled on the local independent circuit for about 10 years. I even wrestled in the early ECW. Unfortunately I was very green then. Lol. Anyway I've been collecting wrestling figures since I'm a kid. Started with LJN and Remco AWA figures. Then Hasbro, Jakks and now Mattel.

26 (27 next month).
Started with wcw toybiz (the white variant Scott Hall), then almost immediately onto BCA's. When the TTL line started distro in Australia basically stopped and at one point basically the only figures I could get were online and through here. Stopped collecting shortly after the R3's were coming out and ended up selling off quite a bit of my collection.
Fast forward to 2012 and I started getting back into it, vowing only to buy elites...which lasted about a month. The biggest difference between then and now is being an adult means I now have my own house which means I'm free to fill every cupboard, shelf and space with whatever I wanted which meant buying ALOT of toys again I THINK from memory I've been on here about 12 years now, been amazing to see how much it's changed over the years!

I'm 15 and I live in Wilmington Delaware. I got into collecting WWE figures when I got Elite 14 John Cena at Toys R Us on April 2012. (My first Cena figure and wrestling figure in general) I got into collecting wrestling figures because a couple months before my cousins came with WWE 12 the 360 version, back then I was NOT a WWE and Wrestling fan at ALL, I had no idea who ANYONE was not even John Cena! Which it was also the first WWE game I played, my first match was a Mario CAW I made vs Justin Gabriel (one of my cousins picked him for me cause he was a jobber so he would be easy to beat but I still lost) One of my cousins Franklin played as John Cena and I was like "Wow this guy is kinda cool!" So then I started playing as him and really gotten into him and started liking him. I then started watching some of his matches on YouTube, him and Orton fighting on top of the Cell was one of my first. I then found out that Wrestling was "fake" and that made me upset, like finding out santas not real, I got over it though and started watching watching Raw and Smackdown in May and I've been a fan since. So I am a WWE figure collector and WWE fan because of John Cena, WWE 12 and Elite 14 John Cena, go figure.
So that's my story, if you actually read all of that you deserve a cookie.
